looks like a tough game for us on tuesday ans the following facts show

played 10 games , only scored 9 goals but only had 8 against , includes 6 clean sheets , the main scorer is declan perkins who has 6,  so he needs watching closely

the other ssnippet is that chris tedder who played for us a couple of years ago and moved to dagenham and redbridge , has been on loan to ilford but recently sustained a skull fracture and will be missing tuesday

I trust that Chris is OK.  The nature of the injury sounds rather serious.

Come on you DARTS!

Let's hope that Saturday's win and a few goals as well will have taken a bit of pressure of the players, and hopefully another good win will be forthcoming (whoops, I've just put a bit more pressure back on again!).

I fancy a home win, and a couple of goals from James - he deserves them!

A quick look at the league table will tell you that this should be an evenly contested match with us the favourites being at home.

TB says that the opposition are watched and hopefully we can have the right formula to break them down and beat em.

Hopefully we can have at least 250 fans to keep the average up and give the boys the 12th man.

Glad to see the whole club happy again after a good win Saturday and great support, but lets not get complacent, we need 100% commitment on and off the field.

Good luck all for Tuesday

Thanks for that Rambo. I haven't got the benefit of Sky!!

Yes, Ryan seems to have settled down at Wigan. I wasn't actually aware he had got back into the England setup. He did play for England Youth on his way throuh the Tranmere ranks. I actually thought he might be caught out a few times at Premiership level with Wigan with his defensive play and poor distribution, but in fairness, he seems to be settling in well and I saw him make a goal line clearance in a recent Premiership highlight.

Apparently, his transfer will be worth £1.25M if he achieves a certain number of appearances. HOw the Darts would like just a fraction of that to make ends meet!!

Now back to the Darts and keeping fingers crossed.

IMPRESSED
« Reply #13 on: October 11, 2005, 10:01:25 PM »

Following tonight's win against Ilford, what has impressed me this season is the fact that in spite of our excellent start to the season, and the subsequent very poor September (at least results wise), there was no suggestion of any panic from the club, manager or supporters when we were having our bad patch.

Why? Probably because we knew we were playing some tough fixtures during that tough period and everybody felt that when those fixtures were out of the way, then results would then start turning round in our favour again. So everybody has kept their belief - which is a tremendous credit to everybody involved.

This league this season is going to be very open, with most teams challenging for the play offs all capable of dropping points against each other. We are not far off the leading pack, so there is everything for the players to play for.

The posters seem up for the FA Trophy match at Dover on Saturday, so go and enjoy yourselves at that match too, whatever the result.

Well played again DArts. Keep it up!!

Top marks to the boys tonight.  Sadly, I am not able to attend evening matches at home so the fixture list suggests that I will be missing quite a few this side of Christmas.

But I'll be twice as loud on Saturdays just to make up for it!

Come on you DARTS!
