We always knew it was going to be a tough match, and with Dover's start it'll be a very, very tough match. Still, what can we do apart from give it our best? Come on you Darts!

i think dover are in the ryman division 1 and are quite high up in the table but i assume their division is the same level as ours.if this is so there is no reason why we should not aim to go through.
for me the f a trophy is something we should seriously aim to do well in.the obsession , and quite righlty, for about 75% of the top conferance clubs , is promotion and play offs etc and they tend to put out scratch teams in the trophy ,like most premier teams do in the league cup and some do in the f a cup.
if we are lucky with the draw and some of the conf north and south teams knock each other out we could go a long way and make a few quid.

I'm very excited about this one. Rivalry just like we used to have in front of a proper crowd. It will be hard work not to be outsung on the day - but we will give it our best shot.

If Dover want to inflate their chances, that's up to them, we revel in being the underdog. Even if Dover do play at the same level, they are fighting well below their weight at the moment.

I think we share the gate too so hopefully a few quid will be made.

Good point there from MM about the gate money, I think it’s a three way split between the two clubs and the FA. A draw would be even more welcome with the opportunity to play at home in front of a large crowd. The winners play against Bashley or Margate in the next round.

I wouldn’t write our chances off completely, you only have to see what Cray Wanderers did to Margate at the weekend (3-0 Away).

Here’s the prize money on offer:-

    1st Qualifying
17 Sep   £500   £500
   2nd Qualifying
12 Nov   £2,000   £1,800
   3rd Qualifying
26 Nov   £3,000   £3,000
   1st Proper
17 Dec   £4,000   £4,000
   2nd Proper
14 Jan   £5,000   £5,000
   3rd proper
4 Feb   £6,000   £6,000
   4th Proper
25 Feb   £7,000   £7,000
   Semi Final
18/25 Mar   £16,000   £16,000
   Final
14or20 May   £50,000   £50,000

I was going to go, but I think I'll just sit at home and listen to the live commentary.

Hopefully we will have a big following for this game with our voices fully lubricated ready for lots & lots of singing.

The club shop started selling the black & white top hats lastnight ready for Saturdays game, even i bought one. 4 got sold straight after the final whistle and at just £1 it's a real bargin.

So if you own one of these top hats then dig it out and wear it with pride on Saturday to support the mighty Darts.
