No be fair lads, casting aspersions on Dover's character, we all know that their fans stay away from local derby's at The Crabble, afraid of the competition from the away fans and their vocal support and Darts don't have any travelling supporters to boost the gate anyway.

So around about 20% less than their normal attendance sounds about right to me. (Can we estimate how many fans travelled roughly ?)

Can't see us having a massive gate on Tuesday, their fans appear to have little interest in travelling to away games, even though this one should be another great local derby game.

At a guess i would say that we had about 100 - 150 with us, although Dover counted about 50.

It's rumoured that the gate on Tuesday is 260. You heard it here first ;)

If we gave the official attendance on Tuesday as zero, it wouldn't be any more ridiculous than Saturday's attendance figure.

This is now the thread to use to discuss Tuesday's game - I'm not convinced there's much more to be said on Saturday's match, so discuss away!

After reading Tony's managers notes about Saturdays game he certainly seems fired up and ready for the replay tomorrow night, hopefully the players will be as well.

They will again need as much vocal support as possible, and if we can give even more than Saturday.

Fantastic managers notes by the way, with a bit of humour from Tony. :)

Does anyone know if Dover will be doing their live Dovertime FM radio broadcast - if so I for one will not be tuning in again, what a load of bollox. All poised for a classic evening, fingers crossed for a bit of "giant ??" killing

Interesting read on Dovertime web site, Craig Cloke one of three Dover players to be "crocked" says:

Quote
"I jumped up for a header, came down hard and my leg and body went over the top. I heard a crack near my ankle and couldn't really walk on it.

And also according to a posting on the DAFC, it seems that Braithwaite has suffered a similar problem with his knee before, and was wanting to attend a hospital nearer his own home.

So, at least two of the injuries were down to pre-existing conditions, and not neccessarily down to the Darts tackling.

Nevertheless, would like to wish a speedy recovery to all their injured players because no player likes to be out of action for too long

I have tried on a few occasions to download the Dover highlights, but only ever got to about the 49 secs before losing it all. Maybe it's because I haven't got broadband yet and my pc is too slow.

I'll be rushing back from Prenton Park after the match to get hold of the replay result tomorrow night.

Our fans were in excellent voice at Dover on Saturday, so keep up the good efforts for the replay and hope there is a great atmosphere to lift Tony and the players to take us down to Margate.

Another excellent report from TB again today.

UP THE DARTS'

Certainly a great cheer was heard when the Darts scored, also saw Eddie on the ground when play continued, and saw the Dover equaliser in spite of their being so many Darts players in and around the 6 yard box.

If I can escape the office early enough, I will be there tomorrow.  Have just bought in gallons of water and throat sweets.  Heading for bed with a Whisky to finally kill off this cold.

Come on you DARTS!
