This is where the manager has a big job to do. Calm down the players and get them concentrated on this league game.

I think I'm making the trip, I hope we take a few up there. A win could turn this season into a very interesting one. Do we really want to go for promotion?

Personally, I think we should because of the dilution at level 4 next season. The standard will be virtually Kent league. I never thought it for one moment before the season, but we really have an opportunity to reach level 3 if the team continues like this. Even though it will be tough there, we've got to go for it.

Yep, it's important to keep our eye on the ball with regard to the league when we pick up on our league fixtures again at the weekend. Matches like tonight, and we only have a cup interest now in the FA Trophy, are a welcome diversion when you are playing well.

The Dover result was a just reward for Tony's efforts and style of management so far this season. I always said back when the manager's job was up for grabs, that I hoped Tony would take the job on providing he could continue to manage his business interests and be the one to bring the Darts back to the Borough. If that comes with the bonus of promotion as well, so much the better!!!!!  He knows this club inside out!

And I would take it if promotion came along because we would have proved to ourselves that we deserved it and would therefore deserve the opportunity to try at the next level up. The worst that could happen would be relegation back to where we are now, the best would be that we are playing at a higher level, the young players continuing to up their own performances and making progress. Plus bigger crowds and better usage of our new stadium.

Hold back a year and everything could be lost! A year is a very long time in football. Last year, Tranmere made it to the semi finals of the playoff, missing out on the final as a result of a penalty shootout. This season, we have just gone 7 league games without a win and tumbled to second to bottom of Division One.

So I will always say take the opportunity if it comes along and build on that success.

Looking forward to hearing the Rothwell result. Hope there are not too many tired legs after tonight's performance

This would be a good weekend to make up some ground on the leading pack and we are only two points behind Corby in 2nd place.

The top four are playing each other so somebody has got to drop points.
They can't all get 3 points !!!

Boreham Wood (1)  v Chatham (3)
Enfield Town     (4)  v Corby     (2)

Just hope our efforts over the last two matches doesn't cause us to run out of steam towards the end of the match. This is one match where the subs could really be useful to bring on pairs of fresh legs !!

COME ON YOU DARTS.

Time to move onwards and upwards, hope the lads aren't too exhausted from the cup ties. Rothwell are one of the form sides, but then so are we !! Be nice to string a few more wins together in the league...

Is there any news on Pulman and how fit he is?

Also will JC be playing or do you think he might be rested after the Trophy games?

Unable to make the Rothwell game but serious negotiations are under way with regards to Margate.

Good luck for Saturday to TB and the gang.

I haven't missed a match yet this season and, after Tuesday, I certainly don't intend to start now. Jimmy Carter MUST play ... he was fantastic the other night and must have run Steve Haffner close for MOTM. Hopefully Pully will be back and we can play the same 4-4-2 as in recent weeks although this would mean leaving Ryan Hayes on the bench again, but he's a bloody good option to have as a sub who could change things if needed. Also have to say that I thought Briggsy had his best game for the Darts on Tuesday. I've been a bit worried recently about who should partner Eddie McClements in central midfield, but Briggsy's performance on Tuesday was the best I've seen him play for the Darts. Keep it up. I feel good about our chances at Rothwell, we are on the up and morale must be high as a kite at the moment. My prediction - Darts will win.

After reading Tony's notes it now looks as though Davey Martin, Ryan Briggs and Kevin Spriggs are all very doubtful for tomorrows game at Rothwell, fingers crossed that Pulman is definately fit and ok to play and that 1 or 2 of the younger players that will have to step in are all ready to fight for their place in the team and can get involved quickly.

The dirty northern people from Dover injuring our players, they're just a bunch of thugs.
