I'm not surprised either. Given that he was brought in under another regime, it's surprising how long he's lasted - normally a new brush sweeps clean or something.

I'd rather poke my eyes out with chipforks than see the latter return, whereas the former would be most welcome back at the club (as a former respected player).

having spoken to paul recently he could not speak highly enough of matt  and couldnt believe some of the things said about matt by tommy as he himself is still owed money by the club and is 100% confident that matt was too and would work alongside matt at any other club he worked at , i too want the best for this club and think you should put personal issues aside gary as matt won the double and is undoubtably a decent coach and has a meassive slection of good young players to bring to the club and knows how to progress players through that love the club having seen three good youth teams grant and simons matts and steve sales how many players have left and how many good coaches have left too manyI will guarntee if someone like paul appreciates matt im sure people like myself and you gary should listen to someone we regard as a dartford legend dnt you!! would want "jimmy bullard " too happen again would we .

Personal issues aren't the only reason I said what I said. For someone who is not a Tommy fan (me), to agree with some of the things he said about Matt, that takes a lot.

Every club he's been with isn't wrong. He is bad news.

every club phoenix sports won the league and cup double left due to welling united approach , welling united as far as im aware tommy approched matt when he knew the welling youth section was being folded and dartford he had decided to leave after paul left due to tommy not knowing what he was doing with the players coming through at the club , i still believe that matt would be a good addition to the club I think that he will end up as a top coach at a top club did you know he has since worked for brighton with the acedemy and under 19's and been working at lilleshall for the FA I think we could do with someone with that pedigree I think you will find there was no real evidence of what people said about matt and although you may not like the bloke he would be good how many a liscence coaches do we have infact what one of our senior tier structure have a fa level 2 ? experience is good but will only let you get so far the game is moving forward gary and we need to  too you may have your opinion but id prefer you and matt to settle your differences in an adult disscussion and get on with the job in hand you cannot deny what he is good at can you !
