Thank goodness for James Carter and the Ryan and Davie double act, brilliant at times Darts conceded two sloppy goals to reduce our goal difference yet again so that the win saw us drop down to 8th place on +4.
The game was classy in attack and the defence were never troubled in the first half and Jimmy took his headed goal well from Ryans telling cross, then just after he had a second header which the keeper just managed to keep out.
The one goal was our only conversion from 10 or more chances in the first half and we knew that the old saying of one goal is not enough, might just prove to be true again.
The second half saw even more super wing play from both Ryan and Davie, but poor defending let in their forward for an unmarked header past Kevin at the far post.
Next was for Davie to receive the ball almost straight from the kick off, beat three defenders on a run down the wing then a low hard cross found Ryan to bang the ball high into the roof of the net.
Surely no more slip ups and Enfield on their knees after such a reply, but again a one goal lead is not enough and as chances were missed, the defence were again asleep from a free kick and another header at the far post saw the equaliser.
Enfield had the chance to take the lead just after but their forward shot wide and thankfully as Jimmy had read my notes on this site

, he knew to stay up front in the area and he continued to linger waiting to prey on those telling crosses coming in from left and right.
Two very well taken headers, both leaving the keeper with no chance saw James complete a headed hat-trick and us retain our unbeaten home record, but as has been stated above those two conceded goals saw us drop a place to 8th.
To keep on winning at home and at least drawing away is the key to progressing up the league, plus we still have to play most of the clubs above us at home.
But we also know goal difference is very important when going for the playoff's so we must try to improve to help overhaul the clubs above us, as we thought that we knew a win would keep us in 7th spot even if Chatham had lost, but not true.
Great game to watch though and congratulations to the lads for a very entertaining afternoon, so lets keep it up on Tuesday and keep on the winning trail ready for the next home league game next Saturday.
