since we last p;layed aveley they their results have been

played 5 , won 2 , drawn 2 , lost 1 , for 5 , against 4  points  = 8

seems they are a bit of a run and will be no easy turn over and the boys need to have not overdone the festivities

however still very beatable and trust that loads of dart fans will use this opportunity to get to aveley and blow off the cob webs of 2 days boozing and eating

i.ll be there

That's a brilliant start to the holiday programme. No silly slip ups now lads in the second half!! Keep it up. Perhaps we had better have a few more 15:30 kick offs!!

I called the Aveley number and the women at the end of the line sounded a little dejected when she told me the score... can't imagine why!!!

Thanks for the updates lads. An exvellent win.

Waltham Forest's game at Harlow was postponed due to frost and Stamford v Rothwell result not yet in (just come in at 1-0), so we move up one place at least and still have a game in hand over Stamford.

Today's game almost doubled Aveley's highest gate of the season from 166 to 310. Suggests a good Darts following for the match.

Plus we have now played 9 at home and 13 away so far.

Hopefully we can now get another similar result at Ilford on Saturday and if we do, the lads will be spot on the points target total that Tony set for getting 3 points per home fixture and 1 point per away game.

Make no mistake this game was won very early, Aveley were no match for our young talented side, we were simply too classy for them and in the end they were resorting to kicking us up in the air and if not for blind inept officials they would have had more bookings etc.

We had a large noisy following (as usual) and well done all.

I will leave the more in depth stuff to the other chaps.
