With Ryan playing the way he is and if he continues to score goals just like at Aveley and today against Wivenhoe then it won't be long before we will be saying "Tostao WHO!"

Ryans goal from nothing turned the game and for the team to score two more in just a few minutes left them rocking and meant the game was very nearly over bar any silly errors.

We also have the consulation of not having Ryan trying to kiss the fans behind the goal or run off with the kids  , but with his temperament and the occasional booking, perhaps there is one trate of Kwashi's he could copy and that's to give the referee/opposition defenders or goalie the odd hug.

Great spell when we scored the three goals, and in fairness before that, Wivenhoe did look a bit dangerous.

No real issue with Ossie being MOTM, although it seems odd that we won the game following three really well worked, well taken goals, and still a defender gets it! A good all round performance again, and it's really tough to single anyone out. Similarly, I don't think that anyone had a poor game at all.

I still can't believe how lucky we are this season with both Dave Martin and Ryan Hayes in our side.  OK, I accept that both still have a bit to learn, and they are not yet the finished article. Dave perhaps needs a bit more self confidence to rip opponenets to shreds more often, and perhaps on occasions, Ryan needs a little less!

But on Saturday, both opposition full backs were subbed off at half time, and that speaks volumes. I'd be dead chuffed to have either Dave or Ryan in our team, and at the moment, we have both. Can't be bad, can it? Long may it last!

Very enjoyable game on Saturday and a very good all round team performance. For me though, Tommy Osborne was the clear MOTM especially considering he had a different role to play, covering for Avery's absence. I think Tommy has done a pretty solid job at left back all season, but he was outstanding on Saturday and I have added him to my list of key players who I would desperately like to see stay for next season. That makes NINE! ... Which is about 7 or 8 more than we have had at any time since we reformed.

Loving it!

just had the " pleasure " of reading the match report on the wivenhoe web and it seems they actually played us off the park for 84 minutes   [except for 3 defensive errors  in 6 minutes , that we took well ]  but they couldnt finish  !!!!

still i've forgiven them as they are a good bunch of fans and they even refered to wignall, as the " ginger winger " [ thought he was a centre back] or did they mean WHINGER ?????

still the record books show a 3-0 win for the darts and a crowd of 283[ incl 6 watching from wivenhoe or 7 if you count GINGE as he didnt do much else !!!!!!!
