After losing lately i simply ask that the players who are fit and available, go out and win, that's the challenge.

bakings win last night sets up a cracker for saturday

the only good thing is that barking are a good footballing team and will let us play so we will be in with a shout and not get physically sorted out like we have been in the last 4 games

Our moment has arrived, the team needs to treat this as a cup final, ARE YOU UP FOR IT!

it wont be easy but hopefully  tony will have the squad in the right frame of mind, unless you are confident you dont stand a chance but i am convinced we have just about enough experience to pull through. for what its worth i am still more than confident of getting in the play offs

The 5th & I will be there tomorrow, but unfortunately The Duke won't be, eye operation fine, but the after effects are just catching up on him, constant watering of the eye and splitting headaches etc.

He didn't want TLD and you others thinking he was crying and getting all emotional, whether we were winning or losing, so opted to stay at home in the warm awaiting a text from The 5th with half/full time result.

Get well soon Duke and be ready for next Saturday, a large crowd expected so plenty of raffle tickets to be sold.

P.S. John Stewart says he will reserve two goes on the card tomorrow as you won last week and he wants some of the money back.

I hope Pully's replacement is a big, ball winning centre forward with a bit of physical presence. Maybe then we'll get to see how good Brendan can be, with the right support?

We have been so good for so much of this season, there is no reason why we can't go in to tomorrow's game with a degree of optimism. So far this term, I haven't missed a single game and all being well, this will be my first 100% attendance season for about 10 years. This is simply because we have several very good players and I have seen some cracking games this year and under those circumstances I will move heaven and earth to avoid missing any. 3 dodgy games doesn't make us a bad team and I'm sure we'll come out of this run soon. The play-offs are still probable rather than just possible, so here's hoping for a return to form and 3 more points on the board by close of play tomorrow.

ps. Duke - You should have had the eye op last year Duke, then the crying would have gone unnoticed! Seriously though, get well and get back soon.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Pully’s replacement is Jay May from Tonbridge who has dropped down the pecking order since the arrival of Jon Main from Tonbridge. Whoever we have signed I’m sure he will get the usual encouragement from the supporters.

Let’s put the last 3 games behind us and treat the remaining league games of the season as our cup finals. That way come the end of this season we will be pretty much in the shake up for the play-offs.

My final word is for The Duke to sit back in his comfy chair and enjoy his glass of sherry whilst he is recovering.

It goes without saying that we need a big guy up front to help Cass out, as thats how he got his goals at Chatham! Jimmy is obviousley the ideal foil for him, any ideas as to how long he is gonna be out?

I can't wait for the new signing to be named, in fact I can't remember being this excited about DFC in general for years - hence I just had to register with the forum!

Good luck for today to all at DFC.

All teams go through a bad patch and hopefully this is all it's been.

We know that we have players capable of playing high class football & the recent run could be down to them trying too hard. Just relax lads, and let your natural game take over.

You all know how good you are & how good you can be. On your day you have the ability to take on & beat much better teams. Just remember your games against Dover & Margate, & how you played against Wimbledon. You have the skill, ability & talent to beat anyone in this league. Just believe in your game & let the natural skill take over.

Win one for the CUSTARD
