Should be our biggest gate of the season as the two best supported teams in the league lock horns.

Home win for me and a cracking atmosphere.

Everyone bring an extra fiver as the first season ticket at Princes Park is up for grabs in a DFCWEB special raffle.

Why not and a win will round it off nicely.

seems like enfield town have signed an ex league wonderboy named BONIEK FORBES , honest ,his dad called him after the famous polish international [ no NOT forbes !!!] , he had a blinding game saturday but seems that he is now to serve a 35 day suspension and miss saturdays game ????

hope so !!!!!

sounds like we played o k 2nd half at barking , hope we can continue as enfield are a good side and what a challenge for the boys in front of OUR  biggest [ 400+  ?? ] crowd of this season

dont reckon any other motivation needed !!!!!!!

we know that tony likes to do his homework on how the opposition play ,so he will have watched enfield town play, but tony if you read this i very recently saw them do a job on waltham forest AWAY.tony please look at the non league section on this forum and under 5th searchers thread Waltham Forest Lose Again is my report on Enfield Town.
It will be a tough tough battle and they are experts at every sneaky little niggly trick. The key to this game will be concentration of our own game and let the officials do their job.In the first 10 minutes they will surround the referee at least twice.Dont fall into the trap and do the same thing.

Concentrate on stopping Ruddi Hall supplying the long haired right winger who is a very good player, they are so sneaky he will probably have his hair cut so we dont recognise him.
they are slow and creaky at the back so this is where we can prosper. They were so bad up front i cant believe they have so many points.A lot of their goals come from midfield and they rely heavily on Rudi Hall for goals.

If we get this win confidence will grow and we could put a run together.Come on lads have belief and win the game.

It goes without saying that this is a massive game for us, and hopefully we can reproduce our home form (excluding the last 2 home games of course!).
Its without doubt going to be tough, but just think how far we have come this season - we are now looking at giving the top sides in our league a real run for their money, and if we can recapture the atmosphere as it was at the Wimbledon and Dover (non stop singing) games this season, then I'm sure it will spur the boys on to get a result on Saturday.

from rambos last post i can see the enfield game being a mirror image of the uxbridge home game when our guys just didnt listen to TBs instructions not to get involved and lost concentration and we all know the outcome

come on boys , this is your chance to learn from this , turn the other cheek and prove that the best way is to stuff them and get 3pts

ALL the dart fans are 100% behind you so go for it !!!!!

After seeing tonights result of Wivenhoe beating Chatham 1-0 tonight this now puts them into 5th place 1pt ahead of us on the same games and us now slipping 1 place to 6th.

This makes Saturdays result against Enfield even more important because IF Barking win and we get anything but 3pts then we will drop out of the play offs with Barking still having a game in hand over us and with Waltham Forest only 1pt behind us they also could over take us.

Come on Darts YOU know you can do it and WE know you can do it so lets go out there give 110% for the whole 90minutes don't let Enfield bully you and pick up those much needed 3pts.

It's getting exciting isn't it ??!! BIG match Saturday, I'm trying to get down for it. We thrive on the big matches and have managed to put in the performances when its mattered ! (Apart from the last few weeks) Last week was the catalyst for the remainder of the season - we can do it !!!!

Well Boreham Wood had their biggest crowd of the season 2 weeks ago by a large margin - playing Enfield Town, which suggests ET have a good away following.

So hopefully - yes - we can achieve our biggest gate of the season.

Tony shouldn't be needing to give a team talk this week - the lads should be up for this match without it - with only a reminder as to how well we played in the crunch Trophy matches. More of the same is required on Saturday,

Any idea if the pitch will be playable today, as there seems to be a hard frost in the area. The last thing we want is for the game to be posponed, then rearranged for a Tuesday night fixture and hence the potential attendance figure will fall!

Hope this is not the case, but just though I'd ask the question.

I personally think the match will be off, judging by the frost in my back garden. The areas in the shade are still rock-solid, and even though the sunny parts are defrosting, the stands at Gravesend will not do us any favours. I'm preparing for the worst.

Apparently the groundsman is perfectly happy with the pitch and so therefore no inspection is to take place.SEE YOU ALL THERE. :)

Gills match off surprisingly, here we are in the 21st century and games are being called off still for frost and waterlogging. Scandalous.

So much to those proposing having a midseason break in Dec, Jan and Feb !!  Wouldn't overcome the problem of postponed fixtures due to snow in March!!

Anyway, in my youthful days I played in a blizzard in an end of season fixture in a Welsh valley in MAY!!

British weather - and the seasons are changing.

The Gillingham postponement might add a couple of interested supporters to the gate today.

Come on you Darts. No freezing today - the fans need warming up!

Looking forward to receiving the match updates.
