Been off work since late on Monday afternoon with the flu, so has The 5th, all those bl**dy people coming to the game with their germs.

Still I'm sure we will make the game this Saturday germ free, whether T.B. plays just one up front or not  and we have to be reasonably fit for the quiz night in the evening, for those who are going along.

Devine intervention, (is he on our side, has Tony that much influence) I see keeps us in 6th spot for Saturday's game, with the Barton Rovers - Barking game postponed.

Hopefully we can see a few goals in the Potters Bar net, but nothing should be taken for granted and as we have seen several times this season the teams that appear to be struggling, lift their game when playing teams near the top.

See you all on Saturday and keep buying those raffle tickets, golden goals, scratchcards and especially that season ticket gamble, well worth a fiver, because someone has to win it.

sorry to hear about that guys. potters bar just seem to have the nack of beating all the decent teams.

i'm just looking at your run-in, and appart from b'wood and corby, it doesnt look too bad.

I think the top four places are settled: B'wood, Enfield town, corby and stamford.

as for the remaining two play offs, its anyones guess, it could be us, you, wivenhoe, barking, and perhaps rothwell or chatham.

In my heart of hearts, I would like to see us two in those final spots, mainly becasue forest are my team, and that you are one of the few genuine sides who actually try and play some decent footie!

Another loss this time against the bottom club this nightmare run continues and now we fall out of the play off places. The most dissappointing thing about today for me was the failure to fashion any major threat in the second half, there was little for the fans to get excited about and worse still the failure to play anywhere near what we are capable of. In fact our form has completely been lost somewhere and its the wrong time to be losing games.

The comittment from the fans is there, we are very nearly the best supported team in the league but the fickle element are going to do something else on a matchday unless the players make a statement of intent soon, I challenge you all now to stop the rot, get that special Darts spirit back and show these fickle fans that we can win a few games and get back in the play offs.

Just because some chances went wide etc there should be no reason, especially at home why heads should drop and the useless 'lumping' of the ball creep in. On our day we can beat ALL the teams in this league but these victories have to be earned by having a big heart and total commitment and that 'over my dead body' attitude.

Perhaps the players need to be reminded that the Darts shirt for next season at PP needs to be earned because today was totally unacceptable for me as a season ticket holder and shareholder and someone who cares deeply enough to want to shout myself hoarse for the cause home and away.

Can the real DFC please come back and quick.

he is another of our productions of the youth set up and is from the same generation of players as the rest of our first team.

he hasnt really had too many chances in the first team, but these last few weeks he's been sensational when coming off the bench, which gave him his start today, i dont think he's made too many starts this season that i can think of.

the main reasons why he wasnt playing so much was because he was thought of as too lightweight, and that he tends to drift out of the game sometimes. on occasions though, it can be his advantage as he finds bags of room out on the wing.

he was also third in the pecking order for that right wing position, but now is playing the best of all 3!

we're back off to ilford tomorrow, our young'uns are playing the ilford young'uns in the semi final of the pelly cup

i am back from a  very enjoyable night out with the duchess and the act we saw we not world class but christ , did they try and gave us our moneys worth and we were well satified

WELL , least it didnt mirror image the debacle i  had the miss fortune to stand 90+ mins  for earlier at stonehenge road

the form book shows that the last 12 games have yielded 10 points and indeed the last 6 have yielded 1 point which is relegation form !!!!

as one of many loyal fans [ 260 + 8 frm PB there today] that have supported the team both vocally and certainly finacially i am very upset that 6 of todays team were gutless and not up for a scrap [ in the right way] and once again just got rolled over and proved to me that TB has now got to get rid and get some charactor in the team , if this lot had been around in 1940 i would now be speaking german

TBs efforts have been brilliant this year and he is being badly let down and so are ALL the fans who pay to go through the turnstiles and the guys who spend endless hours on fund raising [ the latest being the DFC Auction] at the end of the day why should we bother when half the team dont give a f...k

yes i am upset and no doubt the " rose coloured spectacle brigade "  will take me to task but i dont care thats how i feel

if it doesnt  change then i will stop going as i am not prepared to support cheats !!

so like it or f....g lump it !!!!

Only 3 good things have come out of today and they are:

1) We had the highest gate of the day, 10 higher than Enfield Towns game.

2) Brendon managed to score ( although only 1 considering the amount of chances he had it possibly should've been more.)

3) We had a very good turn out for the Quiz night tonight. (Thanks to all those that managed to make it.)

The rest of the day has been a real disappointment and at times almost suicidal.

I won't even comment on the game as it either virtually brings me to tears or makes me want to slit my wrists.

It's just not good enough or acceptable.

I see that Wingate & Finchley managed to beat Boreham Wood today 2-1 as well at Borehamwood.

This doesn't bode well for next week really now does it.

Does anyone know how Teacher Steve got on at yesterdays game with the Season Ticket Raffle and if he managed to sell many more tickets?

I didn't really get a chance to see how he was getting on, well i did have 90 minutes where i could've gone to watch him sell as there was nothing else worth watching yesterday.
