personally i think our chance of the play off are gone but i was very impressed with the attacking attitude at ilford in the first half and then the defensive display against a physical approach in the 2nd.
at this stage in the season there is no point in playing a cat and mouse game against wood because they will pick us off.our strength is our attacking play especially using the skill and pace of hayes aand martin so i hope tony goes for it and give wood an early suprise. their extra game at corby this week cant have helped so lets hope we get all 3 points.
i'll be tuned in for updates

I'm feeling really up for this game tomorrow. I can't help thinking that we'll give it a real go and hit them hard. Their season has almost imploded after the Trophy exit, so perhaps we can take this. Let's believe, Darts.

Hear hear let's go for it we've nothing to lose and as others have drawn the analogy with Kings Lynn, then Jeremy will be there discussing the new ground and so will the loyal 270, so lets hope that we get some of the extra fans who came for K.L. and it boosts the gate tomorrow, with of course the same end result.

Rambo you are so last week! Pull yourself together man and put your happy head on before tomorrow's game.

I'm pretty certain that if we had another 15 points by the end of the season, we'd be in the frame. The question is, can we win all five matches? I agree its asking a lot and the odds are against us but it is possible because we do have a very good team and at our best we can do this. We most definitely DO have a chance, a slim one perhaps, but a chance nevertheless. The fat lady has glanced at her watch but until she's out that door and on the bus home, don't be so keen to throw in the towel.

I too still feel we have a squeak at getting into the playoffs, hopefully last weeks wins can spur us on to bigger and better things for the home straight of the season.

If we can get back to the home form we had early in the season which originally got us in to such a good league position plus the fact we also have two winnable away games left in Enfield & Barton then i don't see why not. Starting with Boreham Wood tomorrow.

SO COME YOU DARTS

We've got it in us to get the playoff spot. Even if we don't, we've got to aim to keep 7th place to give us our best finish since reformation. I have every faith.

spike there is always hope in football and if we win all our games left we will def. be in the play offs but i lost my happy head a few games ago and i dont want to put it back on in case that fat lady shoots it off
at the start of the season when most were cautious i went for 70 points and play off position and for a while i thought we may get 76+ and auto. prom. until our hopes were dashed.
i feel we are a top 5 team in quality but this run killed us.
i hope this miserable git is wrong and we get max points from whats left.i cant be there for this game but good luck to all, if ryan and davey get licence to play 3 points could come our way

All this play off talk made me look at the challenging teams run ins.

Realistically I think we'd be dissapointed to get less than 10 points from the remaining 15, which would leave us on 62.

Arelesey have an outside shot, but they have a tough run in so I don't think they'll get to 62 points.  Rothwell would also do well to get 10 points so I don't think they'll make it either.

Waltham Forest have a similarly tough run in and unless Barking and Corby rest players I think they'll struggle to get more than 6 points from their 5 games.  Not because they're not a good team, but the teams they have to play are the sort of teams that young players and teams that try to play football struggle against.  That would leave them on 62 points also.

Looking at Wivenhoes fixtures they all look winnable for them so they should get at least 10/12 points  out of 15 also finishing on between 61 and 63 points.

Could be very close and very exciting, we need at least 4 out of 5 wins to make it in my realistic opinion and even then it could be decided on goal difference, which unbelievably we have in our advantage at the moment!

Winning tomorrow would be a big start, especially if Forest don't beat Arlesey!

I'm optimistic we can at least challenge for the last spot.

Come on you Darts...
