Listening to Radio Kent on Tuesday after being entertained by Clive Walker
, the next news subject was that in an effort to promote support for St. Georges Day Dartford Council were offering (I think from memory) 100 large & 100 small flags of St. George to the first appliicants at the council offices.
What a great effort I thought to fly in the face of all the pathetic politically correct morons who say that to fly the flag and celebrate our saint is an insult to other races and might cause offence.
Well done to the council,
but wait is this a secret ploy of Jeremy's with his new found love of football to encourage us to wave these flags during the World Cup, did he have this as an ulteria motive
anyway who is St. George and have you seen any dragons about lately, now Rooney, Beckham etc fighting the Germans that's different.
Perhaps we can encourage the powers to be to move St. Georges Day from April 23rd to a date sometime during the World Cup that way everybody's happy and we would have millions more waving the flags and keeping St George happy
