Two games and we need 6 points nothing less will suffice and on paper we should be able to get the wins, but only if we convert our chances.

So on the assumption that Saturday will be the same team again injuries permitting, I hope that Brendan can rub  Chatham's noses in it, plus Eddie and Glen might get a game off the bench along with Haffie, hopefully not too late on, so that they get a chance to change the game if needed.

Monday we will know the results from Friday and Saturday so we will know if we are still in with a chance of the top 6 and if this is the case then everything to play for against Enfield.

Must admit, depending how I feel on Friday, I might go down to see Waltham Forest/Wivenhoe (who is at home?) to cheer on the draw :)

gary -the game is at WIVENHOE  but they will be pleased to see you as your presence alone with add at least 1% extra to their average gate   !!!!

chatham will be a tough test but should be a terrific local derby and as its a saturday it should also bring in a good crowd

we need to win , not cause i'm desperate to be promoted but cause pride says we want to get into the play offs and extend an exciting season

we need to throw all bar the kitchen sink at chatham so let 11 run their legs off for 65 minutes then chuck 3 pairs of fresh legs on to really give them a going over

we want to win, we must win ,we must give 110% and  any player who can still walk off the pitch hasnt given enough !!!!

the fans will again support the team 100% and we believe that the boys will be up for it

Im sure Gary could be persuaded to make the trip down to Wivenhoe, even if he doesn't watch the game he can chat up the young girl behind the bar who he likes.

If it had been at Waltham, I might have gone. Too far to go for a match which I ultimately don't care about, whilst hungover :)

For interests sake, here's a comparison of Dartford and Chatham. Quite a good site.

Well Saturday is sure a big day for the club, its casino night but will the Darts gamble and go all out for the win? We have some tasty attacking players, Haffy, Eddie and our flying wingers, lets do it right and have no mercy, win both games over the weekend then wait and see....................

If the weather is Ok I hope to bring the entire Clan Custard down for the festivities.

Hope Brendan remembers he plays for us now & doesn't get confused!  :-D

Good luck to everyone on Saturday

This is the first time I've been able to log on since last wekends match since I am still away from home.

Thoroughly enjoyed last weeks match v Borehamwood, especially the TEAM performance that was put on by the players. Obviously disappointed that we conceded the late equaliser after putting so much effort into the match. Some think that a draw was a fair result. Myself, except for the first ten minutes when I thought BW settled more quickly than the Darts and put us under pressure,  thereafter I thought we gave them more problems than they gave us.

That was the best allround performance and standard of the Darts I have seen (not that I have seen too many games) since reformation, and Tony is definitely on the right track. So much so, that this weekend, i am staying down South and coming over to watch the local derby v Chatham before returning home to the Wirral after the match.

I hope to enjoy this match as much as the last one.

Also very good to catch up with TrevorB, Matt, TDL, Malcolm Eames, Colin Pickersgill, Micky Dunn and Pete Ludlow, also Peter Martin and Steve Irving again. Also great to meet up with fellow posters for the first time with Gregg, DJJohn, Anfield070, plus the Duke and DaveT. Pleased to also have finally caught up and met the renowned Micky Austen and now able to put a name to a face at last. Apologies to anybody I've missed out. Don't think I met up with Rambo and Ronaldo though.

Also got to say I had both pre-match and post match conversations with out top man TB. It's the first time I have met him, and what a genuine guy he is. I'm even more sure he knows exactly in which direction he is taking the super Darts and extremely glad that Plan B went into operation last season.

Hope to see you all again on Saturday, and looking forward to the pre match presentation of the Ebay cheque too  with our SuperStar Kebabus !!!
