Well we really ballsed this one up! Played out of our skins, but could only score the one. They scored 2 in the first few mins due to a couple of goalkeeping errors....same keeper as last week :x

Harlow had about 7 booking, manager and assistant sent off in which was an extreemly mild tempered affair. They'll be going to the FA to appeal with one of our board members as a witness.........they'll still probably loose!

It was the same ref that we had when we played you earlier in the season at your place.

They were poor! How we only scored 1 I aint a clue! Keeper hasnt the best hands, and defence cant head to save their lifes. Lots of high balls and deep corners me thinks. And hey, if all else fails............GUNG HO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the team showed great charactor in the 2nd half as without doubt we lost momentum and were on the ropes but the lads battled and a real class finish from brendan got us  a deserved point

my MOM was brad potter , who won most of the high balls , got stuck in , played the simple ball and looked solid in front of the back four and also was encouraging far more experienced players to drive on

the two things that must concern TB is once again we fail tio kill off teams in the first half and that davie martin in the 2nd half ,  got to the deadball line on 4 occasions and didnt put the killer cross in which would have meant a win for us

i along with many others rejoiced at the equaliser which has set up 2 more exciting games [ at least ??]

A good performance 1st half and probably should've killed Enfield off, a good headed goal from Brad Potter who had yet another really good game winning virtually everything in the air in the 1st half, he would probably get my MOTM just ahead of Teddy.

It was a bit of a defensive error for them to get their 1st goal when there was nobody on the near post and nobody marking the bloke that scored the goal as he had a completely free header.

The 2nd half we wasn't as good and seemed to give the ball away far to much, Dave Martin was ripping them apart for about 25-30 minutes of the 1st half but then they put 2 & 3 men on him completely marked him out of the game and he semed lost after that.

Ted Ansell made a silly pass in the 2nd half from which Enfield managed to score their 2nd goal when instead of going forward with the ball or passing forward he didn't he turned towards his own goal and played the ball backwards only for an Enfield player to pick it up and run towards the byline and whip in a great cross for their No 9 to just get his boot on the end and volley into the back of the net.

Apart from that 1 mistake Teddy was excellant all game and it was his little back heal (or did he just fall over the ball  :-)) to Brendon that set us up for our equilizer thankfully, with about 3 minutes to go. I was very surprised when the ref said that there was 10 minutes still to play because i thought there was only about 5 minutes maximum. it's a good job we did have that 10 minutes otherwise we could well have come away with nothing today.

1 very good thing is that we're still within that last play off place as Wivenhoe only drew with GWR, so it now comes down to the last 2 games of the season.

COME ON YOU DARTS.

I notice that after Brendons goal today he's now moved up to joint 3rd in the top goal scorers table only 3 behind the 2 above who have both scored 25.

Go on Cassy you know you can catch them.

Been away so a late post for Monday's game and short too :-o Gary was result on Saturday when he said have faith, but he also said it on Monday and when we took the lead so did I.

Brad Potter took a good goal when he made a late run into the box, but just as on Saturday the defence was asleep when the opposition took a corner and the forwards on both occasions were completely un-marked at the near post with none of our players close.

So tighten up the defending of corners lads against Harlow.

I for one had little faith left as the 90th minute got ever closer, but I am not sure whether Gary still had faith in The Almighty or Brendan scoring, but either way it happened and we got the draw necessary to keep us in contention.

A good display by the players and a special mention of Ryan Briggs who has upped his performances over the last three games and of Teddy Ansell who is back to his terrier like best.
