The remaining fixtures suggest that Wivenhoe have a slightly easier run-in, especially as Harlow still have a mathematical chance of the last play-off place.  Perhaps that means that there is less pressure on our players, but in reality, we now have to win our last two remaining games.  Anything is possible.

I am desperate to get to the Harlow game, having not seen the Darts perform since early January due to family reasons.  It might also be our last match at Stonehenge Road (here's hoping).

Top marks to the team for turning around the poor run of form that had begun to detract from the great achievements of the season.  Our Trophy run showed that they can raise their form for the big games.  The next two matches will be the biggest of the season to date and hopefully, the three after that will be even bigger.

Come on you DARTS!

As long as we win on Saturday, we'll have a chance of going into the play-offs. I wouldn't like to have to go to Enfield needing a win.

Two extra points today would have been most welcome and seen us up to 6th place. However, it was so nearly 0 points until Brendan's last minute equaliser, and we still remain in the hunt.

Not going to be easy for us, but certainly mathematically still a possibilty, and at present we still have goal difference in our favour if we can gain that extra point on Wivenhoe. So, still everything to play for and it looks as though it could still go down to the wire on the last day of the season.

Hopefully another good crowd for Saturday.

ps Congratulations to Ramsgate for gaining promotion after their 3-2 win over Dover, whose management team apparently got themselves very upset when a dog came onto the pitch during the game according to the kentishfootball website and upset their rhythm.

I suppose that dog came from Dartford and it was all our fault again the same as it was for that Dover player getting sent off today. :-D

It is absolutely vital that we get a win against Harlow on Saturday especially as we're at home as well but it's certainly not going to be an easy game as Harlow will be fired up for it but hopefully not as much as our players. We got a bit lucky today and could so easily have blown it but thankfully Brendon saved us.

We MUST HAVE extra loud vocal support on Saturday and be that 12th man, so make sure you've all got plenty of throat lozengers because after today (the 1st 5 - 10 minutes infact) i know i certainly needed them.

We can win this. Wivenhoe are the ones under pressure this Saturday. They'll be looking over their shoulders worrying about our result. Their last game worries me though. They get to play Berkhamstead who are bottom and are relegated no matter what happens. They could just send out a reserve squad against Wivenhoe to give experience to lesser players. Barton I think will be tricky, but I'm still hoping to get there. Does anyone know where there is exactly?

I sincerely hope we make the play offs, but if we don't, I'll stand and applaud this team we have because they have performed better than we could possibly have believed this season.

I'm happy for this team to start next season as one of the true title contenders, which should bring the fans in. And hopefully we can hold onto some of our youngsters for a season or two before the envitable happens and they are snapped up by bigger teams in higher divisions.

Anyway, that's in the future. The present is this Saturday, as this could be the most important 8 days for this team & I fully intend to give my 110% for the cause.

Berkhamsted is actually their next game.Their last game is Enfield away. Not a place I'd like to have to go for a (hopefully) "must win" game.
Also Berkhamsted had a 4-1 away win and a 2-2 draw with Rothwell over Easter so don't assume they'll be easy, the pressure's off of them now.

Whatever happens between now and the end of the season, I know that the supporters will be behind the team 100% regarding if they are promoted or miss out. We have an abundance of young talent who will get even better in the years to come and hopefully we can keep this nucleus of players together in order to see us rise through the non-league pyramid.

Lets all get together and give it our best shot to spur the boys on till now and the end of the season. Bring along a friend, granddad, great granddad (if he’s dead dig him up), wife the mistress the pet cockatoo etc…whatever be there!!!

Did anyone see the irate supporter Saturday who chased after the lino in the second half after Dave Martin had been fouled? None of this would have happened had Dave T been present.

See you all Saturday, miss it if you dare (Grassbank including).

Berkhamstead can pull off any result and beat anyone on their day as we found out when we played them away and lost 3-1 and as Ronaldo has said they beat Wingate 4-1 at Wingate and then drew 2-2 with Rothwell so fingers crossed that they do the business for us against Wivenhoe on Saturday.

Wivenhoe then go to Enfield on the last day of the season which will be a very tricky game for them as we found out on Monday, it certainly won't be easy.

The main thing is that we have to concentrate on winning our last 2 games which neither are going to be easy especially Harlow who beat Borehamwood Monday 2-1.

We know the boys can do it and they know they can do it, lets just all hope and prey that they go out their and really show us.

We're all behind them 110% what ever happens.

Let's defend those corners and keep the balls flowing up to Brendan in his chase for those extra few goals, Davy to keep his cool and put in a 90 minutes display of his usual skills and the other players to continue the performances of the last few games as we strive to win this one and have all to play for at Barton.

We must keep winning no matter what Wivenhoe do to keep up the pressure and the lads can do it provided we all get vocally behind the Darts on Saturday and as others have said provide the 12th man to spur on the players and as been shown on Monday the game is never over until that final whistle.

duke as well as being the top shouter i think you have the loudest clap in non league football, you dont need a claxon. i think you should offer to clap whilst a referee is standing in front of you neatly positioned in between your arms, a whole new meaning to cauliflower ears.
