agreed don, very unlucky not to make the playoffs,we know the damage was done in that terrible run which went on just to long to allow recovery.
we now hope that tony can keep this squad together and add to it as well and the good vibes at our new home bring the success that the loyal supporters deserve.
well done to the whole club.

We did what we had to do and that was to win 3 points but as already said inconsistency has cost us play off/ promotion glory!

Cheered on by about 130 fans we were and ONE lousy point was the difference in the end, but we must all now look forward and not dwell on what could have been, this team minus our injuries is not good enough at the end of the day to make the play offs and i don't mean that in a negative way but its fact, we need 3-5 new quality strong players if we are to mount a serious promotion bid or a season like this one may result. We have enjoyed some cracking games this season and today was a good way to sign off.

Thanks to all the players and staff for making today a winning one, debate about where we go from here well we have a long hot summer to discuss that!

I'm gutted but not disappointed. We played quite well today, against probably the worst side I've seen this year. All the "If's and Maybe's" were discussed on the coach home, but at the end of the day, this is the clubs best finish since reforming 14 years ago, so I'm not disappointed. WELL DONE LADS!

Im gutted to have lost out on the play off's by just 1 point but i've certainly enjoyed a fantastic season and can't wait for the next one to start.

By all accounts Wivenhoe had a 10 man defence today just so they didn't concede and they got just a draw which unfortunately was all they needed.

All i can say for now is Thank You to Tony, Robbo & Skip Sawyer for bringing out the best in the players this season and also to all the players for giving us a fantastic season and giving us our highest placing finish since our re-formation.

Congratulations to Kevin Hudson for winning this seasons Grassbank Away Player of the season award with Davey Martin the runner up.
