Respect is a strange word sometimes people are too weak in the mind and 'respect' someone just to go along with the sheep or do what the mass media tell them to do by their brain washing, Ian Wright played football and scored loads of goals, great but respect him for that? I take my hat off to him and many like him but for me respect is something i reserve for those that really deserve it like the poor buggers who fought in the wars to save this country from the nazis, poor sods who will be turning in their graves at the total mess successive govts have made in this once great country.

no arguments at all at what you say kebab but with respect this is a football forum and the word respect is intended in this context for services to football and ability in football. i once posted something very similar about life and misfortune in general on this forum and other posters "told me off" for swaying off the subject.
anyway i am not an arsenal fan or particular fan of wrighty and i know the chance of him being england manager is less than nil, but i see how passionate he is about england and compare him to the sterile twits ,to clever by half twats, money grabbers and glory hunters on offer and i just feel we need something different for this job.to be honest the best candidate in this category is stuart pearce but i went off him last season when he took off a forward and replaced him with a goalkeeper up front.the forward he took off was useless but how humiliating it was for the forward, you just dont do that to one of your players
