Well done Darts, a much better performance.

Does anyone know when the draw for the next round is made?

Why did Tommy O take the last penalty....? I must confess I wondered the same when I saw him walk up. I'd been expecting Eddie Mac. Three possible answers (or any combination thereof):
1. He's been reading the thread about him scoring for the Darts at last.
2. All the others bottled it.
3. (and my bet): As the skipper, he felt it was his responsibility to win the match for us.

OZZIE NOT A " VOCAL CAPTAIN " BUT TOP MARKS TO HIM FOR HAVING THE BOTTLE TO TAKE THE PENALTY

remember a certain " call me guvnor  " [only said it once to roy keene  ] ,  mr ince who never once had the bottle to take a penalty in a major shoot out  !!!!

WELL DONE OSSIE

best wishes to jon farley for a speedy recovery as the injury looked a bad one  but it will give danny white an extended run at left back and hopefully he can build on the promising start so far which will add some more strength to the squad

In answer to the attendance query, my bet is most fans can't be bothered, especially when there is live football on free TV.  The rest of us just weren't home in time.

Come on you DARTS!

Congratulations to The Darts on the win and all the penalties excitement that gave us the result including Tommy Osbourne getting the winner after all our talk of him scoring.

I hope T.B. takes a leaf out of Chelsea's book and changes our main penalty taker as Cassie has taken and missed his last two, just as Chelsea took the responsibilty last night and stopped Lampard from taking their one after his two recent misses.

The miss in the first two minutes against Kingstonian could have been costly and the first half chance last night could have given us a 3-0 lead and avoided penalties, Cassie seems to stroll up with some uncertainty then decides to play it cool or act too casually and appears to make it look flash alah premiership style and the net result is two misses, lets get back to basics and give it a belt as chances are if the keeper gets lucky then we might pick up the rebound if not it hopefully hits the back of the net.

Interesting to see who we get next and although it was a poor attendance last night at least it was extra money in the coffers.

The League Cup is notoriously badly supported though - it's a competition where most teams can't make much money, and don't have much realistic chance of winning it!

Why don't they just rebadge this competition the Kent Senior Cup? What's the point of a league wide cup competition if they just group all the local sides together? I can only assume it's to try to generate a bit more interest in the competiton with some local derbies, but it's just fixing the draw. I can understand why the early FA Cup rounds are regionalised, but to do this in the League Cup is plain daft when the league is a regional one anyway. Still at least Jay and Brendan will be well up for this one - I hope!
