Interesting to read from the first full match report that the pacy opponents ran at us. Now there is an idea. I bet the Hastings number 5 would not have been so impressive facing pace on the grass.

Great idea, perhaps we could sign a left winger who is quite fast and can run with the ball. Oh, and maybe someone on the right to do the same.:-)

Actually, the Hastings no.5 was very quick and although we had nobody running directly at him, he never got caught out by the long balls we played.

The difference on tuesday was not that we wasn't using davey's pace , far from it. Most teams we play against haven't got defenders that fast. Dulwich however had pace everywhere which gave people the opinion that tony henry would not be effective.
Dulwich had two or three palyers on martin all night that to be honest were either very good at pushing him wide and tackling or would leave him for dead in a straight race.

Final word in criticising the team ;

We have a young team that needs to gel a bit more. They are ALL talented and deserve their place and yes they all have faults, but then so has wayne rooney and ronaldinho. But thats whats so great about football at this level, the not knowing if we are going to win. Don't think so?, who took an interest in audley harrison's fights when they were on. If anyone disagrees with this great, because that proves we have passion among our fans. If you feel that strongly about players in the team that should not be playing suggest a name to tony or put your boots on and ask for a trial.

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?
