Maidstone fan here, looking forward to the match, shame it isnt at your new ground and is on a Monday. A potential crowd of 1000 is probably slashed almost in half now...

Also, your ground looks magnificent, you deserve it after... well you all know the story.

Cheers.

That would have been your last match played in The Gola League before relegation.
May 3 1986 Maidstone United 3 Dartford 0.If you had beaten us we would have been
relegated also. The last time The Darts beat Stones in a league fixture was 2nd Jan 1982
Dartford 2 Maidstone United 1

And Maidstone's website says that their supporters coach has been cancelled through lack of support, so can't see too many of them travelling through to Thurrock either.

I reckon we could still bring a few maybe about 150, we never have huge demarnd for the coach unless its a FA Cup game or a game far away, Essex aint to far away so most people will prolly just drive

Anyways cant wait, this has been the game i been looking forward to, its just a shame it aint gonna be at PP  :x

I expect about 450-500, shame really cos if it was a Saturday game would of been double that in my view

Be good to finally meet you DJJohn, hopefully my old man comes along aswell

How does one get all this info from the Ryman forum?  I just can't seem to find any way to find it.

If some Dover fans are trying to wind things up for our match v the Stones, then perhaps they should reflect on the fact that this website attracts good friendly banter between opposing supporters from almost every side we have played this year.

This match is no exception with contributions from Rraymondo, West Sussex Stones and Sam.

Of course, this is something the DAFC website doesn't experience, because so many of their postings are negative against their own club and supporters, let alone opposition clubs. And that's assuming you are allowed to even get access to their website because I keep getting an error message when trying to access their fans forum!!!!!

Enjoy the match Lads. I hope there is a big crowd and that Maidstone can bring quite a few along too.

There you go! It does seem to be a bit of pond life on a wind up mind, as stated probably somebody from another team!

I'm looking forward to this one! They'll be a cracking atmosphere!!

Was expecting a draw, but with our defence looking so 'leaky' we're going to have to go on the attack. Then again, with a game like this past form goes straight out the window.

C'mon you Stones!

That whole thread on the Ryman forum is an example of why I don't even read it - at least we're civil on here.

Rraymondo, there will be at least 250 there in my opinion. Worthing was blooming miles away and was changed at very short notice. Plus this game obviously has a bit more of a draw to it... Only I went to Burgess Hill on Tuesday, but against Dartford theres 8 of us!
