Looking forward to it after missing the last few games. I wonder if either of the new boys will be on show?

Anybody driving to Croydon (i.e. Thornton Heath) tomorrow round the officially recommended M25-A23 route? Any idea how long you'll be allowing for the journey (assuming no hold-ups on the M25)? I think 1 hour's probably not long enough but would 2 hours be excessive? I don't how quick the A23 will be on a Saturday afternoon - my experience of the area is restricted to Purley town centre and the multiple junction - and that's b----y awful!!!  :-(

Hunky Honky if you are going via M25/A22 then  from Purley the A23 Purley Way then it shouldn't take much more than 1 hour as I can do the journey from Allhallows to Thornton Heath Ponds in 1.1/4 hours during the morning rush hour.

However The 5th and myself will be going M25/A21 Orpington road to Farnborough Hospital then left onto the A232 into Croydon over the flyover and down onto the Purly Way about 1.1/2 miles from the ground.

This route shouldn't take us more than 1 hour from Strood, but as both The 5th and myself have worked in Croydon on the Purley Way  just before the Mitcham roundabout we know of shortcuts if the traffic is heavy.

see you tomorrow

Thanks, Trevor B. I think I know one route from Farmborough Hospital to Purley, but I don't think I know the A232 route  - so I'll have a gander at the A-Z to see if it looks any better. If so, I might take that instead. Cheers!
And come on you Darts!

As I remember it, I think that the track on the left is at the far end of Mayfield Road.
Croydon's website says "at first sight Mayfield Road looks like a dead end, take the track to the left" not "at the first sight of Mayfield Road take the track to the left".

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?

As far as the teams above us go...

Dulwich Hamlet were beaten 4-1 by Fleet Town
Dover beat Thurrock 3-0
I don't think Leatherhead were playing today

I reckon the table will now look like this...

Dover 21 pts
Fleet Town 18 pts
The Darts 16pts
Dulwich Hamlet 14 pts

Good result... up the Darts!

Really good result for the Darts today. The most important plus factor must be the clean sheet!!!
