30th October 2006 Notes
« on: October 30, 2006, 11:19:49 AM »

Last Saturday we managed to pick up another three points to add to our tally
for the season so far. I felt once we settled down in the first half and
converted the first goal the players produced some excellent football for us
to convert three chances and if it had not been for our opponents goalkeeper
who pulled of two great saves we could have come in 5 0 up.

In the second half the game went a little flat and in the first 15 minutes we created enough chances to increase our lead but to be fair I don't think I have any right to criticize our forward play or finishing at the moment. However I am
disappointed to concede a goal in the last ten minutes.

Tonight we face a very tough test against a side who have lost only once
this season and on Saturday progressed to the first round of the FA Cup with a great result away from home.

Nobody wins the league in October and we have got to stay focused and try and put another three points in the bank and add to our tally for the season.

Thank you for the vocal support on Saturday and I hope you can come along
tonight to support the team and get the result that we all want

Thanks for your support
