Being the pessimist that I am, I can't help wondering, though, how long it will be before the vandals rip off all the little curly bits ...

That's impressive! As much as I like that gate, and I do think it's a very nice gate with the footballs and the badge at the top....7 pictures of it? It is ONLY a gate.

Trust me, EVERY pic so far (from the last year) has been warmly appreciated even to the point of looking at them time and time again, i'm loving it, 7 or 700 bring em on, because we are all worth it!

Oh I know, Gary and Kebabus. It's what the gate symbolises of course, but even if someone showed me a picture of the gates of Heaven with St Peter standing by, I'd only need one

I'm more excited by what's behind the iron, and it's not long now!!  :-D :-o /smug

After seeing the stadium for the first time tonight all i can say i WOW, it really is absolutely amazing.

The photo's on the website really don't do it justice, the pitch basically looks as though it's pure plastic it's so flat and green.

Davie Martin, Ryan Hayes and Stevie Haffner are going to have an absolute field day out on that turf, i can't believe just how wide the pitch is as well.

Tonight really has been fantastic and tomorrow will be even better, the atmosphere really will be explosive.

COME ON YOU DARTS.

NO the lads haven't played/trained on the pitch at all, but they did train on the 2nd pitch/training pitch on Thursday night.

They got the chance to have a good look round and walk on the pitch before their training session on Thursday but apart from that nothing. I did hear that the training pitch is basically made of the same stuff as the main pitch so they would've had a little chance to get used to it.

I'm going to lock this thread and move it across to the Princes Park Pictures Thread where you can all put your photos of the day in!
