Thought of putting a 0-0 option but cannot possibly concieve you scoring that many goals.

I'm just going to delete the poll on this one so that we can use this as the match thread (we use the Poll for the Man of the Match).

By Train
The Corinthian Casuals ground is situated off Hook Rise South just 10-15 minutes walk from Tolworth main line station. Turn left out of the station and walk towards the roundabout. Just before the Tolworth Bowl car park turn left into Toby Way following the road round behind the Bowl. At the junction with the A3 slip road turn left into Hook Rise South. Continue along this road until you reach Queen Mary's Close, where you will see a small sign for the club. Turn left into the Close, walk under the railway bridge and the ground is on the right.

By Car
The ground is situated just off the A3 not far from the Tolworth roundabout.

If you are travelling from the M25 you can join the A3 at junction 10 towards London. Stay on the A3 until you reach the 50mph speed limit, continue under the Hook roundabout and move into the lefthand lane for ca. 174 yds. Bear LEFT onto Hook Rise North for 0.2 mile (Tolworth Junction). At roundabout, take the FOURTH exit (as if you were going to rejoin the A3 going towards Portsmouth) then almost immediately take slip road on left onto Hook Rise South for 0.5 mile.

If you are travelling from London on the A3 take the Tolworth Junction exit. At roundabout, take the SECOND exit (as if you were going to rejoin the A3 going towards Portsmouth) then almost immediately take slip road on left onto Hook Rise South for 0.5 mile.

In both cases please be careful as you may miss it the slip road into Hook Rise South.

Turn LEFT into Queen Mary Close. Ground and car park under railway bridge on right hand side. Youth Section pitches and changing rooms are in the park on the left.

In reply to your other posting question chocolate@pink, we normally expect around 70-80 to travel and just occasionally 100, not sure this Saturday after our 6-0 win yesterday, but how ever many there will be lots of singing

Corinthian FC would not score from a penalty, sidefooting it wide on purpose, also if they had a penalty awarded against them they withdrew the keeper presenting the oposition with a open goal.

Corinthian-Casuals Fc until 1980 approx also never allowed a player to play for the club again if he was sent off, this does not hapen today with cards being handed out like confetti, however we still try and behave correctly and any player sent off for a serious offence like headbutting a player would almost certainly never play for the club again. Last season we won the Rymans league fair play award.

i seem to recall that many years ago [ circa 1960s] the great alfredo di - stefano of real madrid purposely chipped the ball over the bar when they were awarded a riduculous penalty when the scores were level

mind you with him, puskas. gento etx in the team it didnt really matter much !!!!

great standards still at corinthians , reminds me when football was only a sport and reckon that the darts can be proud of our record of only i red card last season and none this

looking forward to my 1st ever visit on saturday and perhaps gleaning some more sporting memorabilia !!!!!

Just a quick note following a call from Dave Skinner - the club ARE running a coach to Corinthian Casuals on Saturday.

Coaches leave Overy Street at 11.45 and Watling Street at 12 noon.

Is this a regular occurrence with the coach? If not it should be in the future, with the interest in the Darts now rapidly rising!

We always used to run coaches, but with there being more local journeys, it's a less frequent thing.

Is that one coach or two ?

Is it a team coach and a supporters coach ?

I would guess it will be one coach combined with both players and supporters.
