A few of todays results.
« on: November 25, 2006, 06:13:38 PM »

Burgess Hill 4 -1 Leatherhead

Hastings 4 -1 Dulwich Hamlet

Maidstone 0 - 0 Dover

Met Police 4 - 1 Fleet

Ashford-Horsham YMCA / Godalming-Croydon / Whyteleafe-Chatham / Walton Cas-Corinthian Cas Games all called off.

Apparently Ramsgates game got called off by the match referee who then got over ruled by an Official Adjudicator who said the pitch was playable. The kick off was delayed until 3-40pm.

Tonbridge Angels 1 - 2 Margate

Bad day for the top teams, shame we couldn't take advantage!

Sounds like the Ramsgate game is being watched by 1 man & his dog, due to the game officially being called off.

I bet the Rams officials aren't happy at all.

I have to agree Duke with them conceding so few goals and just scoring enough to win most, if they get ahead few will come back to win against them.

We on the other hand score loads on occasions let in loads and don't hold on enough to draw never mind win some games, but if they can lose some of their games in hand just as the other top teams have lost today bar Sittingbourne then this could be a very close run league right up to the end of the season. (I hope)

Yes, just a pity we couldn't get the points today to take advantage of Dulwich Hamlets defeat at Hastings today.  As others have said and as I said earlier in the season, any team is capable of taking points off another.

Well, with our next home game to be against Dover, I think we Darts actually start out as underdogs in this game. And to be honest, that's how I prefer it because we seem to raise our game in such matches and cause an upset.

Tony can tell the lads as well before the match that I am coming down from Merseyside for this match. Haven't seen the Darts lose since it was announced that the Darts were coming home. So, please keep the record up for this tussle with Dover.

christ pete, if TB tells the lads that you are appearing it will frighten them almost to death and they dare not perform !!!!!

fleet got hammered today as well as dulwich H so it has helped us but we cant keep relying on handouts

the team that can put a run together could get out oif the pack and clinch it

could it be us ??????????

Well IF we'd won today we would've gone top of the table by 2pts but instead we've actually dropped 1 place now to Dover who have gone above us on goal difference.

Both on 28pts but they have about 7 goals better than us.

Another not bad night for us, with the 2 of the 3 teams above us wasting their games in hand.

2  2  Dulwich Hamlet v Burgess Hill Town
Attendance 218

2  3  Fleet Town v Hastings United
Attendance 183

Now all we got to do is win our next 2 games(no easy task I know) and our recent bad patch will be all but forgotton!

both burgess hill and hastings have come on a bundle since their early season problems and are now both pretty tough to beat

fleet are struggling a touch , lets hope its a good time to visit them and start to put together a run of victories than could just pull us away from the pack

the 5th is looking forward to the burgers there as he has fond memories of a couple of years ago ,  her mum is quite nice as well ,  she just needs to watch out for mickey !!!!!!!!!!
