ADMISSION CHARGES
« on: November 26, 2006, 05:35:43 PM »

I know this topic has been done before but i'd just like to say well done to the Directors for changing their minds about the admission price for kids at Princes Park.

I don't know if any of you have realised but we are no longer charging £4 for kids.

At the opening we had KIDS FOR A QUID which was great but the club have now set up the following admission prices which is far better than previous and has certainly attracted far far more kids to our home games than we ever had previously.

Adult + 1 Kid (U16) £10
Adult £9
Consessions £5
Kids (U16) £2

So if you have 1 adult + 2 kids then it's £12 meaning it's only costing £1.50 per child which is great.

There were plenty of complaints on here when it was originally decided to be £4, yet theres been no mention (that i can recall) from anyone about the change & reduction in kids prices since PP opened.

What I would like is some clarification as to the charges for the disabled and their carers. At the homecoming I was charged £9 for the disabled person and the carer went in free. But yesterday I got charged £18. I am not trying to make trouble for anyone but I would like to know what the correct price is.

There were at least 10 children from The Brent Primary School that came yesterday because of the change of admission charges. Well Done Darts.

I will try and find out for you Eagle as to what the charge should be in this situation, it may be that whoever was on the turnstile didn't know any different.

See, this is what people mean when they say the communication from the club is poor - this is something that should have been shouted out from the rooftops. This is an excellent piece of news that should be applauded. Well done, DFC.

There was a lot of stand ins on the turnstiles yesterday so the charges may have been a bit varied of late.
But A BIG BIG WELL DONE to all involved at the club for changing the prices and I am sure it cost us nothing and gained a lot.
It is great to see so many familys at PP

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?

The standard prices are clearly set out and are stuck up on the turnstile walls so the operators can clearly see them, but i doubt that they've been told anything about disabled/carers charges.

I was on one of the turnstiles on saturday and whilst I was given a lot of information , i don't recall being told about disabled/carers ,please bare with us ,I was a stand-in and was new to the job,you would be amazed at the queries that come up,but I enjoyed helping out and will jump in again if asked. No matter how hard everyone try's certain things will be overlooked, this is not the fault of any individual, it's simply a case of rectifying things as they occur. Please bare with us we are all doing our best to help the club. COME ON YOU DARTSSSSSSSSSSSSS

"The Teacher" mentioned ten kids from Brent School going to a match.  Are there posters with fixtures and admission prices displayed at the Boroughs schools, where the parents can see them?
Some dads could get a few Brownie points by taking the kids out on a Saturday afternoon while the "Old Lady" goes shopping or some such.  Game of footy, a pie and a drink each for about a score can't be bad!!
