Boxing Day Away To Chatham Town
« on: December 22, 2006, 07:37:01 PM »

I know this is a bit early yet but just a note to pre warn you that kick off will be the normal 3pm for this match and not earlier.

Just enough time for a bit of dinner then to the footy for a few beers and hopefully a good game with 3pts going back to Dartford. (Fingers crossed). :-D

Chatham Town away 26th December
« Reply #1 on: December 23, 2006, 11:53:09 AM »

I'm planning on driving down to the match on Tuesday. But can anyone tell me what has happened/is happening with the A2 between Bean and Gravesend due to the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (and road-widening)? I am currently thinking of joining the A2 via Betsham at the Springhead roundabout, but according to my local A-Z (circa 1998), the CTRL was due to be going straight through that roundabout. Would I be right, though, in thinking that there will still be a roundabout there somewhere? Or would I be better advised to go via Meopham to join the A2 at the Tollgate roundabout? I only ask because I'm trying to avoid delays due to M25 roadworks and Watling Street Bluewater traffic.

Hunky Honky, yes you are O.K. the roundabout is still there but what you have to do now is cross over the A.2. and go up to the Sainsbury's roundabout and then come back on yourself in order to join the A.2. as you can no longer turn right just over the bridge.

See you there
