Really looking forward to the match today :)  however just seen on the Ryman site theres a pitch inspection at 1115am so i guess the pitch must be in a bit of a worse state than usual.

Heres hoping its going ahead COYD

It is a shame but until football clubs aquire covers then matches probably will be still called off in the 22nd century as well! Thats what the football foundation etc is there for!

.....Hi, i'm Dave, a new member to this forum.....thanks for having me. I'm a supporter from the Watling Street days, and to my shame i've not been to many matches sinse. Work commitments mean i haven't even been to the new ground yet, but i did go to Molesey yesterday. Shame it was rained off, but it was the only thing they could do. I spent a happy hour or two in their clubhouse with three other Darts supporters, we were treated very well by the Molesey staff. They supplied us with plenty of warm AND FREE food and the bar prices were excellent too.So after all these years i turn up at an away match and then don't get to see us play, but i'm glad i went and it was still a good day. Thanks to the lads i spent the afternoon and some of the evening with, and a big thanks to the excellent people at Molesey, you are a credit to non-league football. Hope to be at Princes Park next Saturday.

Welcome aboard Dave,

Glad you made the trip (although obviously not that the match was called off). Also glad to hear that Molesey's hospitality was decent - there've not been many clubs in the league that haven't made us feel welcome (I'm not naming clubs - guess!).

Hope you enjoy being back with the Darts!

absolutely TOP MARKS to the molesey boys for their hospitality to our guys yesterday

it is so easy to " talk the talk " but those boys showed what real class is and  a lesson to  us ALL , lets make sure if we are in the same position that we also come up with the goods !!!!!!!

great credit to molesey for proving that non league football is a class above its rich brothers !!!!!

no doubt, even though its going to be  a mid week fixture now , that the darts fans will  turn up and enjoy the same hospitality

so,  thanks molesey , you are a credit to non league football

Well done to the great hospitality shown by Molesey, yesterday. I was one of the few that made the journey, and even though it was postponed (pitch was well waterlogged) we had a great time in their friendly clubhouse, even given free food. Excellent. Thanks to Jeff, his son Carl & Dave - brilliant laugh!!! The prices were brilliant, Samuel Smiths Alpine lager & bitter on tap at £1.70 a pint, Magners at £2.50 a bottle and of course Carling & Fosters at £2.20. Anyway the rearranged match is supposed to be Tuesday 16th, so please come along & support the Darts.  One other thing, there was only 2 covered areas, a small shed-like cover behind one of the goals and there main stand.

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?
