As long as we don't get to much rain and these strongs winds carry on then im almost certain that the game will go ahead without a problem. It's only if we have anymore really heavy downpoors that it could then be in jeopody.

As for the pubs i'll let one of the others comment, but you can always have a few beers in our bar it's open from about 12 noon.

The Ivy Leaf is within easy walking/staggering distance of PP, or as the 5th said the bar in PP will be open and showing the live match on the big screens you are welcome to join us :-)

Should be an interesting game on Saturday, weather permitting, with both Teams having an enforced break. This will be the first match for Burgess Hill since Boxing Day. Hopefully we can keep our unbeaten record going, bagging three home points to keep our promotion challenge going.

It will be nice to see the Burgess fans at PP, who made us all welcome and entertained at their ground back in August.

Sorry to say I will be missing this one.  It is James first birthday on Saturday and daddy will be busy entertaining family members.  Will leave the web site active and hope to keep up to date during the afternoon.

Come on you DARTS!

Similar side and tactics for me as per last home game, i prefer to see goals and how welcome would a clean sheet be?

Live footy on in the bar before and after our match tell all your friends etc, lets keep those crowds above 1000.

I agree Kebabus lets keep the tactics the same and keep the goals coming......in the right end of course. Hope that any lessons learnt training on on defending set pieces will be in effect.

Hopefully we can keep the crowd above 1000 once again, just noticed that G&N play AFC Wimbledon at home in the Trophy on Saturday. Reading in a local paper that Mr Daish was moaning about the lack of supporters (I think he means the general footie fan not dedicated to one club) turning up at home games. If these people had a choice of going to Stonebridge Road or PP, then it's simple which one they would choose.............. :-D

See you all at PP on Saturday. Kebabus I may be interested in a bit of poker before the game if the stakes are not too high..

We play for fun as it is illegal to play for money without a gaming licence - or is it? This is currently at court and will be decided in a couple of weeks. For now it's for fun.

The Burgess Hill fans were good fun, but their team are much improved since we last played them on the first day of the season at least results wise. Hope the weather's OK, should be a great 12 hour shift at PP including the Race Night at which you are ALLOWED TO EAT so make a day of it.
