Burgess Hill 7-2 forget it, game over next one Ashford, second from bottom just an easy game, never, with our performances against lower placed teams at home lets get realistic because they have let in less goals than us, so we are vunerable at the back even if it is only from set pieces, but the clue is to score early.

So lets hope for another 1,000+ attendance getting behind the lads from the start, seeing a performance from the whole team as consistant as has been seen in the last 7 games and just for once keeping a clean sheet, then that one early goal would be enough and if more come along then it's a bonus towards our goal difference, but let's get the win.

family comitments in yorkshire prevent me from being at the ashford game but i do bellieve that it is time for the team to believe that they are good enough and NOT to be frightened of anyone

respect- yes but we have the players , the class  the desire ,the bottle and a manager who wil lNOT accept that we just have to turn up

so , its into the next gear guys , make it 8 games undefeated with 3 points and just show who is going to " boss " this division  !!!!!!!

the 5th is keepng me up to speed on the game and I am looking forward to his texts

hopefully TB will bring the lads down to earth after saturday , Ashford have had some good results lately and on no account must be underestimated. WE must continue playing our brand of football and also show the opponents respect,if we need any reminders that we are good but not invincible------two words (  Cray wanderers ) need I say any more.

If the guys can keep up the work-rate they showed on saturday I think Ashord will have more than a few problems keeping up with us. But as everyone has said we MUST give them the respect they deserve, and also remember that it is a Kent derby so they will also be UP FOR IT.

My brother (Welsh Waffler) works with ex-Dart full-back, Tommy Adlington. Apparently Tommy has been playing centre-back for Ashford and is really looking forward to the roasting he is going to get   game on Saturday.

Tommy Adlington is reading your comments with interest and getting more determined to get a result by the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me i am using (and will be using Saturday) all the psychology needed on him.

Ian Ross also works here and no matter how hard i try the pair of them have  "no comment"

Tom did get a bit excited this morning when he thought Dave.M had left (unlucky Tom, not yet).

If there are any comments or thoughts from either of them they will be on here in minutes.

Good to see oppo players looking in, maybe they would like to eat a few pies before the game and have a couple of pints, that could be the only enjoyment glened from the day!

pride cometh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Ashford were 2-0 up at cray when the game was abandoned a couple of weeks ago, I know cray are not in the promotion zone but we were thrashed there and couldn't even buy a goal on the day, Ashford might be down the bottom but so were Walton and we only just got a draw there, after last week I can understand some people getting carried away but we must not get to full of ourselves, there is nothing wrong with confidence but over-confidence is something else,Ashford will not roll-over,in fact I am expecting them to be up for it big time. Sorry to be a spoilsport but we all know what can happen after the lord mayors show. I am sure we can beat them but we will have to earn it.

Mmm…not quite sure about this game, a potential banana skin if I ever did see one.

Ashford are on a roll at present including a win against Dulwich and against Cray they were 2-0 up before it was abandoned. No doulbt this is down to a new management team and a few quality players coming in.

So come everyone (including the choir) let’s not be complacent and treat this game like another cup final.
