Horsham YMCA away - match thread
« on: January 24, 2007, 05:39:58 PM »

Saturday's away game isn't on the official site...that won't be helping the away crowds.

Also, I think the club would benefit from the option to click on the forthcoming away matches on the official site, so that newer fans can see the details about coaches etc.

I'm just kicking out ideas here.

This is as good a thread as any for the match thread, so here goes:

Directions:

Gorings Mead is found on the Brighton Road, heading out of town under the railway bridge, pass the Queen's Head pub on your right and then after about 150 metres look for the 'YMCA' sign directing you to turn right into Gorings Mead. The ground is right at the end of the road.  Please Note: there is NO spectator parking in Gorings Mead and spectators are directed to one of the large number of Car Parks, all available within 5 minutes walk from the ground.

Comparison:
Horsham YMCA     Dartford
Recent form HOME    L·D·W·L    W·W·W·D
Recent form AWAY    W·W·W·W    L·W·D·W
Next info is based on last 50 matches
Home win    18%    42%
Home draw    27%    34%
Home lost    55%    24%
Home goals    1.09 per match    1.92 per match
Away win    64%    34%
Away draw    9%    22%
Away lost    27%    44%
Away goals    1.73 per match    1.42 per match

Yes good luck to the lads on Saturday, as Duke has said we are all away this weekend but i will be keeping a close eye on the web so hopefully somebody can keep it updated.

I have arranged for Graham (Anfield070) to keep me updated with how we are getting on and i will probably phone as well.

Hope we can take a good crowd with us to get behind the team and fingers crossed come away with all 3pts.

All the best.

Although we have beaten this team twice this season I have been impressed by their right back, who is one of the few players I've seen match Dave Martin for pace.

Good luck to all concerned for tomorrow.

Good luck to the lads today, seems like most of the regulars will be absent today. Custard, if we play like we did in midweek I dont think that YMCA's right back will have too much to worry about as Davie's departure has left a massive void down the left hand side ! 3 points today please !!

Not a-f******g-gan!!!

Any idea, by the way, why Kevin's not in goal? Has been injured, or is he just being rested - or even dropped?
