I sure hope so Don. A win at Ashford on Tuesday would take us 5 points clear!  Sounds good doesn't it?!!!

All three goals scored by Dartford players, loan players should not be allowed to play against their own teams!

Can't believe that a loan player can play against his own team ?? That is crazy even at this level. Looking forward to Ashford on Tuesday, I will be stopping over for it lets hope we can get a good vocal following down there !

a sittingbourne steward , who seemed to be in the know,  told us that hogg has signed for the bourne [ not loan anymore] so appears he was o k to play today

as for the game today we were suprised that ryno was on the bench but fair do's to TB he got it 100% right and the boys thoroughly deserved the win with some really good football on a quagy pitch albeit better than on previous visits

full marks to ALL of the lads and TB  today and roll on tuesday at ashford

Great result today and a great battling performance by the lads today, at first the line up again looked a little strange with Ryno on the bench BUT  xthink certainly got it right today and everyone battled really well and played some great on the deck football on a very poor pitch indeed, so with this 2-1 win we are indeed TOP OF THE LEAGUE.

Our goals scored by Haffy a great goal just managing to keep the ball in from going for a goalkick and then rounding the keeper to put us 1 up. Then from a great Briggsy corner Brad Potter powerfully headed into the net for 2-0 (even though Radio Kent said it was Carl Bruce) then Anthony Hogg of all people scored for Sittingbourne. Rumour has it that Hogg has actually signed for Bourne and is no longer a Darts player, hopefully Tony can confirm whether this is true or not. If not then it does seem very strange that we've allowed him to play against his own club and even worse score against them.

It's been very hard to pick a MOTM today as everyone has played well especially Brad, Haffy and Richard Avery with Cassie putting in loads of effort with non stop running upfront BUT in the end i have to give it to Brad Potter who was absolutely solid in the midfield winning everything in the air and scoring a cracking header.

Briggo & Carl Bruce had solid games today and both got really stuck in, the best thing about today was seeing us play some excellant on the deck football on a pitch which is normally only suitable for in the air football.

Attendance given on the Brickies site was 315. There was some good banter going on with the Bourne fans in the 1st half with both lots of singing fans standing side by side directly next to the Sittingbourne dug out  trying to out sing each other and winding each other up. Then 2nd half we stood behind the goal and just took over the singing which was almost constant.

WELL DONE DARTS players, management & fans.

WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE
SAY WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE.

Have to say that Sittingbournes manager Steve Lovell either talks complete and utter crap OR he wasn't at the game today because his comments on Radio Kent claim that Sittingbourne had the upper hand and most of the play in the 1st half and they had the upper hand and virtually all of the play in the 2nd half.

The grapes really must be sour in that Sittingbourne dug out, bad loser or what.

Even the 2 blokes from Radio Kent were bigging us up and saying how well we played and didn't just hoof the ball in the air but played on the deck football and completely ran the whole game. They are now saying that it looks like either us or Maidstone for the title BUT only time will tell with this.

Thankfully Maidstone seem to play better away than they do at home so as long as we give it our all then we shouldn't have any fears whatsoever.

The line up today was :
Kessell, Osbourne, Norman, Guest, Avery, Potter, Briggs, Bruce, Cass, Ansell, Hafner

Subs: Hayes, McGuire, Billiness, Elmes

No subs were used.

From where we were standing we definitely had more of the play :-) Even the announcer had to agree with that, he was standing right by us. Crowd was 315 and I reckon there were at least 200 Darts Fans xpeter And for  xdover to lose to Maidstone, Dulwich drawing and Fleet losing to the Plod then a good day all round xthink Can't make it to Ashford but I will have my fingers crossed very tightly

Sometimes you just have to battle, roll the olde sleeves up and compete, we did that today, we went there and 'did the job', super stuff at this stage. Same again Tuesday at Ashford please.

Top of the league............................ xbriggs

I think the next few games will really shape how the season finishes. If the Stones win their games in hand they can go top 4 pts clear of us. So I think a win in 3 weeks away to the Stones is a must xjeremy Mind you if we can keep winning then every one else will have to catch us won't they xpeter
