Yes, played on by your goodselves, owned by others. You should be grateful you've got any type of pitch to play on at all.

Also, your posting style has an uncanny knack of being identical to Dukes!!

I tell you what Bins old chap, I’ll let you take control at the helm and see how long before there’s a mutiny. Let’s face it you don’t know your deep fine leg from your silly mid-wicket and talking of wickets how many did you get for me last season??? Before you go on about my performances on the field I still ended up the top keeper batsman in the division.

As for walking 42 miles you must be having a laugh. You have trouble running in between the wickets and can barely last a 3 over spell. By the way how’s the back.

When you want some tutoring how to mix then I will duly oblige and as for the drinks I wasn’t expecting to get one out of you.

I’ll bring along the jock strap tomorrow so The Duke and some of my fellow posters can add to the contents as we know you like to swallow…Butch told me.

I have to laugh when I here a Maidstone fan accuse the pitch at Watling Street of being crap.  It was fine until some nomads covered it in sand.  Was it really a cheap attempt at making the grass look yellow?  Over-use of the pitch ruined the fine surface that we had previously enjoyed.  Turned out it was the least of our problems.

Come on you DARTS!

Well i think its safe to say today is the defining moment of our season. Lose today and we can definately kiss goodbye to automatic promotion, even a draw is not really good enough. We have to start to reel in The Stones lead. Lets hope for another performance like Tuesday night, only without conceding unfair/freak goals huh???  COME ON !!!!

STONES MATCH IN DOUBT
« Reply #88 on: March 03, 2007, 11:30:39 AM »

Just spoke to John Hall who lives nearby Sittingbourne, and is at the ground now. Pissed with rain for about 6 hours last night and there are about "six large puddles of water on the pitch". He has spoken to the groundsman, who seems confident that game should go on. However, pitch inspection set for 11.30.

Don't particularly want the match called off, but I want a pitch that is good enough to allow us to play football - not mud-wrestling.  I don't hold out much hope though.

Come on you DARTS!
