Croydon Athletic home - Princes Park, 10th March 2007
« on: March 07, 2007, 09:45:47 AM »

Previous Match Thread:http://www.dartfordfootballclub.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,1945.0.html

On the team news front, I believe Jay May is serving a one-match suspension for five yellow cards and Steve Hafner is still out with his wrist injury.

Well if it was down to me, of those available, I would go for ...

                       Kessell

      Osborne, Avery, Guest, Norman

      Hayes, McLements, Watts, Green

                   Cass, Carter

At the risk of inviting hoots of derision and ridicule, I agree with you Spike.

But to be fair Dave the team sort of picks its self this week the only other option would be to play a 5 man midfield with Potter in there and leaving Jimmy on the bench but with two good wingers why would we do this. So agreeing with Spike this week is inevitable so the derision and ridicule will have to wait until it happens again :)

I don't think it matters who we play or what formation. At the end of the day, if we want to stay in with a chance of the play-offs this is simply a must win game.

Well, in an effort to ensure that we get some hoots of derision in here somewhere, leave it to me to hoot and deride at my mate Custard.

                      J.Kite

        Trev B   Duke   5th   Skip

   Burman   Sawyer   Robinson   Dave T

               Spike   Custard

.... Personally, I think it matters quite a bit.

Surely you're playing both Skip and Tony out of position?

We could try the Mike Bassett’s Christmas pud formation Custard.  Or the    xtommy    Hands-up formation.

I’d stick with the keeper. It would take a good shot to squeeze the ball pass JK.

Personally I think we need a bit more pace at the back. Besides trev and duke are more towards the norman hunter school of defending and will probably get a straight red after 15mins. And judging by the quality of his posting skip's no good with his head :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?

Jay May's suspension begins on 10th March. He would have been able to play on Tuesday at Ashford.
