As the non league paper on Sunday stated, we made hard work of the game and 4 0 was a little flattering. However, at this stage of the season 3 points is all that matters as we continue our push for the play offs and who knows, even the title if we can win our last 7 games or win 5 and draw 2 as a minmium. The lads kept it together and when Jay's 2nd goal went in the points were ours. Every game now is so important ( Dulwich and Hastings in particular ) but I believe we can do it. Every trip to Princes park now is a pleasure and the club shop is looking great. Well done.

COME ON YOU DARTS !!!!

As for Spike ,how many times have i told you to get a hearing aid.

Perhaps he didn't hear you?

As the non league paper on Sunday stated, we made hard work of the game and 4 0 was a little flattering.

Whilst the result might have been a little flattering, it makes up a bit for 0-0 at Ashford on Tuesday which was distinctly unflattering! It's helped our goal difference too, which is now only three less that Dulwich. So a win against them on Saturday by a margin of more than one goal would mean that we will have cancelled out their game in hand. During recent weeks, we've looked better against the stronger sides, so let's hope we can continue this against Dulwich and Hastings. Personally, I'm confident that we are able to get results from both of these games, and second place is not out of the question. I know it's an old adage, but we really have to concentrate on our own matches now, and try not to concern ourselves with the rest. Easier said than done though!

If you look at the games that Ashford have in hand on everybody else and factor that into consideration along with the weather last Tuesday's result was not too bad. Still 2 pts dropped though but Ashfords league position does not reflect their true ability I think. That said, whilst 3 pts on saturday were nice it wasn't pretty and we will definitely have to change up a gear or 2 against Dulwich and Hastings in hte coming weeks. BUT I STILL BELIEVE!!!!!!! COYD's

Thought TB's notes summed up the game perfectly. Personally I thought Cassie was outstanding on saturday, Jay took his goals well but when the chips were down Cassie was back in his own half chasing lost causes and driving us on. We do need to get the ball down and play because thats when were dangerous. The long ball game doesn't suit Eddie Mc, Ryno or Cassie and when we hoof it we make teams like Croydon, Ashford and Corinthion look good. Dulwich play good football and we should raise our game at the weekend so it should make for a good encounter. Hope Eddie is fit as he is the best ball player in the league and after Saturdays game Briggs must be in with a shout of starting. Is it me or did Lew Watts look tired? Against Maidstone and Ashford he chased and battled but more than once on saturday, he lost out in a 50/50 and then watched what developed. Not knocking him but he looked like a man in need of a rest.

... if we can win our last 7 games or win 5 and draw 2 as a minmium.

We only have 6 games left Paul. ... Dulwich (H), Kingstonian (A), Chatham (H), Hastings (A), Walton (H) and Met Police (A) ... plus another two if you count the play-offs. If we won all 6 we would finish on 80 points. Maidstone already have 68 with another 8 games to play. It would take a serious dip in form for them, but I agree, it is possible. Second place however, is a very realistic target. We are only 4 points behind Hastings on the same number of games AND we have to play them at their place. If we won all six I would be very surprised if we didn't fnish second.

Spike  I stand corrected    5 wins and 1 draw then !

Guess I don't want the season to end !   it's been such a ride from my away trip to Tun. Wells to the Horsham game and every game since really ( excluding the Cray game   -   I think Liverpool Everton in the bar before hand was 0 0 aswell ) !! Anyway bring on the Hamlet   we can win that game and then move up the table again !
