Apologies to Gary for starting this before him, but having checked the Plod's attendances at their ground. I really think we need to make the effort to beat their hone attendance record for this season, after all we are in a record breaking season :-D :-D. Their only 2 attendances above 200 were against Maidstone 395 and T&M 238. As this is the last game of the 'proper' league season, I really think we should all make the effort to get to this game, which might just  xbow xbow get us into the playoffs. After the effect the crowd had at Hastings on saturday - (it did seem to lift the team) who knows what we can do against the Plod!
I still believe........... COYD!

Directions:

By Road: A3 then A309 to Scilly Isles roundabout, turn into Hampton Court Road, at 1st roundabout left into Ember Court Road, ground faces after 300 yards.

By Rail: South West BR trains to Thames Ditton or Esher, then ten minute walk from either.

Apart from the £9 at Princes Park every other team in this league has charged £7 or £8 and I wouldn't expect Met Police to be any different. Given the obvious cost and effort involved in travelling, I can't imagine that £1 either way would make the slightest difference to whether anyone would travel or not though, so I wonder why you ask and what difference it makes anyway.

There will also be the the occasion of the cheque for the Jack Brown appeal by the Met Police to be handed over.

When will the presentation be done? - pre match kick off ? - on the pitch ? - by Trevor and co ? who put a lot of effort in to raising funds for a very good cause.

My donation was sent directly to the Appeal.

It's always very worthwhile popping onto the www.jackbrownappeal.org website on a regular basis to see the weekly updates of Jacks battle against his cancer.

Yes the cheque will be handed over hopefully before the match, there will be 2 cheques being handed over 1 from DFC from the supporters & U16's donations and 1 from Mrs B from the big raffle that she held at work.

Close to around £1200 or so should be handed over in total. I doubt it will be done on the pitch and will probably just be handed over to the person involved with the appeal but we'll have to wait and see.

If I can find out when and where it will be done I will grab a few pics of the presentation and give them to Gary to post on here.

Let the battle for 6th place commence!! Now that the pressure is off I hope the players will give their all for the fans for the last match of the season. Don't forget nearest train station is Thames Ditton, zone 5, ( Waterloo - Hampton Court line). A Dartford - Thames Ditton return fare is £4.05 per person in a group of four, with up to 4 kids travelling for a quid!! A Dartford - All Zones travelcard is £4.60 per person in a group of 4!!
There are about 10 pubs not far from the station, and the chances are the weather will be great, so I hope to see a large following....
