Let's see if we can get a good crowd up PP again. Last home match still in with a possible play-off place. The joint should be buzzing. And a good chance to show our appreciation to the guys for the seasons efforts.

A tough game indeed after the Casuals heroic win at Dulwich and coming from 2 down against Tooting if slightly aided with Tooting playing with 10 men for 45 mins but if the boys show the same commitment as last Saturday with a little more flair we should just sneak the points.

Don't be so sure Terry because if and it's a very big IF we managed to get into the play off's and finished 4th then there is always the chance that the 2 teams finishing 4th & 5th could win, then we would be at home.

OK i know im dreaming a little but there is still that little glimmer of hope. :-D

Don't forget that if you haven't cast your vote for the home player of the season yet then you still have time as long as it's cast before kick off.
You can vote in either the club shop, College End Pod or the bar.

If you haven't cast your vote for the Grassbank Away player of the season then if you see Mickey Austin in the bar and pay your £2 (covers cost of trophy) then you can do so.

We really need to deliver on Saturday, and not go out there worrying about what other teams are doing. If we play with determination like we did last Saturday we will win. Then its at the 'Plod' next week. We got it down to the last match last season, lets do it again. Shame about Fleet winning last night, I thought that for their position they seemed to be also-rans, but there you go.
See you all

at the end of the day if fleet get into the play offs then fair dues but with no hint of sour grapes[ just honesty] i thought that in the 2 games against us they were the WEAKEST of the top 7 sides and if by some miracle they go up then god help them as the team isnt good enough and they dont have the crowds or the infrastructure to finace it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I completely agree with Duke ... on the evidence I have seen, Fleet are without doubt the poorest side amongst the challengers.

I know we are not a GREAT side, but we are quite good and although the majority of our performances have been very good, the odd blip here and there is to be expected. The recent performance against Chatham, for example, was in my opinion, just one of those days when we had several players perform below their best. I can accept that these things are going to happen from time to time and as long as we continue to improve I can live with it. The one game this season that really pi**ed me off though, was the home defeat by Fleet because I genuinely believe we lost because our initial approach to the game was far too negative. I don't think that game WAS a bad day at the office, I just think we got it wrong tactically, in the first half, and handed the initiative to Fleet. Our second half performance that day was very good but unfortunately bad luck and circumstance prevented us from recovering. It is typical of how things always seem to work out in football, that this game should come back to haunt us because had we won, we would now be 2 points above Fleet and in fourth place ahead of Dover. C'est la vie!

Anyway, lets hope we can finish the season on a high as overall, the team have done us proud this season. In fact, since Tony Burman took the helm I think we have showed steady improvement and I for one, am very happy with our progress. I have no doubts that things will continue to improve next season so if we do miss out this year, there is every reason to look forward to the next.

Having been served up with tosh for the few years previous to Tony coming back, I'm quite glad that we're still challenging for play-off honours at this stage of the season, in a league that is significantly better than last years. We now need to put our faith in others as well as our own, but if it comes down to it, we can come back more ready, more hungry and a little bit hurt by this season and take the initiative next season.

This match (and Met Police) for me is all about pride, pride in the town and the football club, I along with many of my fellow fans am Dartford born and bred, wether we make the play offs or not, lets cheer even louder Saturday for OUR club. Princes Park must become our fortress where teams find the atmosphere NOT to their liking, a place where we win near enough EVERY time, we have had 5 months to get used to our fantastic new home, next season the club must up the ante on all fronts, our job as fans to create that special Darts atmosphere, the clubs job is to provide the players necessary to elavate us to the next levels. Some of the ingredients are there, if its not this season then the next one is vital, the town expects, its going to be time to deliver real soon, I want to be a part of it, all I can see are positives now, the negatives are slowly but surely being crossed off.

Princes Park and Dartford fc, fantastic.

Its not just the players that have a job to do on Saturday its also US . WE MUST SING, SING AND SING SOME MORE harder and louder than we have all season for the whole 90 minuets . Lets make this a day to remember. As TB said we are the 12th man. Last week at Hastings the singing was great , this week we will have 5 times as many voices. Lets blow the roof off!!!!!!!!!!
