with a likely lmaximum of only 2 more games this season [ IF we make the play offs then great !!1] i just hope that we go out with a bang and get 6 points by playing really well and putting on a show for the loyal fans who so badly want the team to do well

i feel sure that the noise levels will be great [ my throats better , so will leave the rattle at home - no need to thank me ???] and what  a great way to once again show tony and the boys just what a decent bunch of fans the club have

if the team playus with the same " spunk " as at hastings then it shpould be 2 cracking games !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A tasty day of football today. Will be down at Prenton Park to watch Rovers entertain league leaders Scunthorpe in their efforts to secure the champions title today, and then rushing home to catch up on all the final scores from the Rymans league south games.

Come on you Darts. Three points today - Pleeaaassssseeeee!!

Sorry Lads, but you can sing all night and we wouldn't score. A bit of a let down in the end, didn't deserve it. I think I hear a fat lady singing.
Tony was going to have to make changes whether we went up or stayed down. Looks like he's got his work cut out.

I thought we played some good football against a very well organised side. We played very patiently, and although we continued to play well all game, we found it difficult to step up a gear in the last 20 mins when it was required.

It was so refreshing to not see any aimless punts upfield.

I hope people remember the positives about this season, and realise we have some very good players at the club that I truly hope will stay on. While there are sure to be many ins and outs, I hope Tony manages to keep the core of the side because it is a very good one.

As hard as we tried we could not find the net. Have to say when Lew Watts has the arm bound we look stronger at the back. Well done lads see you next week for the final game of the season.

Last weeks win at Hastings renewed our hopes but this tame draw at home to Walton yes lowly Walton just sums up the second half of the season, 1300 fans again leaving PP really dissappointed. The other 9 they can be satisfied with it but most will feel the need for changes. Good luck to the top 5, we need to get next week out of the way and plan again.

Not happy but then again really hopeful for success next season.

If we are collectively to get the Dover attitude you can keep it.

The wife emailed BBC Radio Kent as follows:

Can you tell me why I listen to your radio show via the web on a Saturday, and you name all the teams playing except Dartford -  I often have to find out the results via the DFC website, so I am disappointed that a local radio station is ignoring a team which has a brand new ground and also a huge following - whether the match be at home or away.  I await for you explanation.

The reply from Radio Kent:

Hello

You need to be listening to the radio for the "round the grounds" normally there's a non legaue game on the website.

Today I've listed the games with goals in, maybe I need to make that more clear.  So you need to have a word with your strikers to get more mentions!.  But apart from Maidstone we've done more Dartford games on the show than any other Ryman league club this season.

Trouble is this week there are 8 Kent clubs with issues on them.  As some of them are issues of automatic promotion rather than play-offs, which is Dartford's case, you haven't got on as a featured game this week.

Hope that helps.

i totally agree with martin that we played some really good on the ground football today but we did that that class final ball which results in goals

as far as i am concerned we have had a really good season and count it as consolidation especially after the turmoil of the last 2 seasons and the newness of PP

WE HAVE NO DIVINE RIGHT TO BE PROMOTED AND I FOR ONE DEPLORE THE " DOVER ATTITITUDE " AS I BELIEVE THAT WE HAVE EVERYTHING IN PLACE TO DEVELOP A TEAM THAT WILL WIN PROMOTION PROBABLY NEXT SEASON

we have NOT made the play offs but any darts fan who hasnt enjoyed 95% of the games this season must be a really hard guy to please cause i think we have done great

so lets ALL go the the met police next week , supprt tony and the bioys and THANK THEM for providing us with a really exciting season

great news that tony is staying on for next season , we just know he wants it as badly as we do !

so final message to ALL other ryman 1 league fans - we ain't going up but you will never put us loyal dart fans down cause we win and lose as a cluband in the long term we will get it right

Agreed we don't have a divine right to get promoted.

But don't you think a couple of purchases in the last couple of months would have contributed a bit more to the potential promotion ???
