Who likes Kareoke Nights??

If the Supporter's Association were to run one from time to time, would people be interested in attending?

Also do you think games nights would be a good idea on either a Friday or Saturday night such as the following:

1 Saturday Pool

The following Saturday Darts

The following Saturday Cards (ie Poker / Cribb / Bridge) I know poker is being played at the moment.

Possibly even a table football night

This sort of thing just to keep a bit of interest going during the summer, to get a few extra people up to Princes Park and to help raise a little for the club. It would possibly be done on say a friendly competition basis with a small entry fee.

Your idea's would be appreciated. We are trying to think of a few different & fun idea's to help raise funds as well as the normal Quiz / Race / Casino Nights.

Like the idea of a pool compo, no don't think I could win it, before you lot start.

what about something on the community pitch?   
Penalty competition? , our own cross bar comp?
some form of its a knock out fun day? ( dunno)

Not sure about the Com pitch as i think it's booked up for virtually every day / night for something like the next 2 years. So i've heard.

Some sort of family fun day / weekend would be good though.

It would be great to have a karaoke from time to time. One of the best events the supporters have had over the last 2 years was a karaoke. Who remembers Grassbank doing his Tony Bennett, Custard doing Tony Christie and The duke doing a rendition of Buddy Holly?

With our new facilities all you need is a pc loaded with mp3+g files with s-video output into those huge widescreens.

So come on powers to be let’s get this on.

Poker would be a problem as you are not allowed to profit from the game. (If the government can't get their hands on it through tax, nobody can apparantly) That is why it is only allowed to be played in casinos with an entry levy charged (which gets taxed - get the idea?).

Have to use the voice for something during the summer months.  Perhaps a mixture of a karaoke evening and the gong show whereby a panel of 'musical judges' can save, or prolong, the suffering of the audience.
