Stifado - In response to your post and in my defence; i have only recently "got with the times" as they say and invested in a computer which is why i've only recently joined this forum.

If i'd been able to register to this forum any sooner then i would have and i would have certainly mentioned other players performances/contributions during the course of the season other than those of the front two.

If there is going to be an award for Manager's Player of the Year we surely have to accept the Manager's nomination. He may well take into account factors of which we as spectators are unaware. There would be little point in having the award if it always went to the player favoured by the majority of the spectators- there is a separate award for that.

Lincoln Exile, that is the whole point of having the 3 awards, Grant must have had his reasons for picking Dom and congratulations to him on winning his award. As I stated on a earlier posting football is a team game and everyone should be recognised.

This is a very fair and true statement. Of course we have to accept the Manager's nomination and decision; i was merely expressing my views like most people on this forum do and felt that the Manager must have seen something that I and a few of the other fans couldn't see.
