dave t i would like them to bring them in and security letting them to they have only banned gas cannister airhorns not the other airhorns if sudbury get watever instruments into the ground i.e a drum that means us darts fans can which means we shud all pay like a pound to get a big old drum to generate some extra noise to the already good choir

You sure it ain't Lord Charles you're bringing Buzz? You'll never get that lump of wood past our security. Anyway we've got one of our own to greet you Suffolk boys, only ours is about 25ft tall.

Banksy, even if they did turn up with their drums or whatever else they want to bring im sure the stewards won't allow them to bring them into the ground and if they do get them in they will be asked to take them out again.

It's supposedly all to do with the noise and complaints from the neighbours.

afc sudbury are a decent team BUT they aint real madrid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so far they have played 6 games and won 5 and 4 of the teams are in 13, 15,  21 and 22 positions in the league , they scraped a 1-0 win over enfield and LOST to maldon that we drew with

will be a test for us saturday but no need to " big them up "

Sudbury will bring at least 100 fans with them tomorrow. Do you not think it is a bit over the top to have security guards banning our instruments? We are not Millwall, and you are not a conference team. The Sudbury "band" is usually welcomed, as we really add to the atmosphere. All I ever read about you lot tells me you are a great bunch of fans and always friendly, but having security guards? Bit overkill isnt it?

I think because we've got a new ground, there's a lot of focus on how we're running things so we have to follow the letter of the law every time. Coupled with the fact that, even though you correctly state that we are not a Conference team, we aim to be following Conference procedures in the very near future, we have to follow rules. Having said that though, there doesn't say anything about instruments being banned in the Ground Regs... (http://dartfordfc.co.uk/documents/fullgroundregs2007-8.pdf) so who knows?

Perhaps Paul D might be able to clarify these points? (We don't usually get away fans, let alone bands! :))

Hi Sudbury fans

I think Gary has said it all - Providing the ground regs are respected then I can not foresee any issues whatsoever.  Look forward to meeting you.  When Welling borrowed the ground due to their floodlight failure they played Salisbury whose fans had a drum - no problems then - so I would not imagine things will change.

Will you come by coach or mini bus - just post here and we will arrange a space for it in the car park.

Cheers
