Excellent result. Reasonable crowd. Will be interesting to see if we were as lucky as the reports on the Sudbury site suggest.

This is my first match back in Lincoln, so it has seemed strange following the progress from home!

First half was very even, both teams playing decent stuff at times and both defending well.  Second half Sudbury were attacking more with us limited to chances on the break.

Don't know about lucky though, more like 13 Heroes!  In many ways I thought we were better in the second half today than we were against Sittingbourne midweek.

Never thought I'd be that nervous 6 games into a season, but 10 minutes of Dovertime will do that to you(I saw the handball, but I think we would have been very unlucky if it was given).

Excellent ballsy performance today. Defence was as solid as a rock. Good support from Sudbury, have got a lot of time for their fans - seemed really decent people. COYD

What a result, throughly enjoyed the game. Can barely speak now though. Credit to the Sudbury fans, they made alot of noise (even if they had to use instruments). Dont think we were outsung by any means.  Hopefully when Kadi gets another couple of games and Ryno is back we will be rocking.

All together now....

Not the best game I've ever seen but the lads showed some real spirit and some never say die defending--we were under pressure for most of the 2nd half but to be honest can't remember too many clear cut Sudbury chances--some great blocks towards the end and was glad to hear the final whistle--eventually !!

Got to admit I wasn't sure of Flanagan when I first saw him--thought he was carrying a little bit of weight but every time I see him he impresses me more--thought he was outstanding today (as were the whole defence).  Impressed also with O'Brien --he even kept his cool when provoked--glad to see he's learnt his lesson.

I think Guesty was a bit lucky though--I thought I saw him  throw a punch-- although the ref was facing the other way I'm surprised the lino didn't see it.  Well done lads--you did us proud--hope we can show the same desire every week--didn't think much of Sudbury  if I'm honest--their centre half made me look quick   !!!

Only one downside--was a bit disappointed with Kadi--early days though ..

Well done lads--keep it up !!

That was some game, great defence in the second half. I would have liked to of seen Bradbrook come on earlier as their Number six (Lurch) was slower than a slow thing

I did not think it was a great game but one where the result was what mattered. Both sides were evenly matched and cancelled each other out alot. I was impressed with Sudburys passing and for a period in the 2nd half they put us under alot of pressure, fortunately we rode the storm. We missed pace down the wings so hopefully Ryan is back soon. The new guy had a quiet game but he showed he has a real football brain, awareness and time on the ball.
