Happy Birthday Princes Park - the Waltham Abbey thread
« on: October 12, 2007, 02:04:41 PM »

I’ve been asked by Nicola Collett, DFC’s General Manager, to let the members of Pure DFC know about the plans for the most important birthday party of the year.

Nicola and various helpers were in the Priory Shopping Centre, Dartford yesterday handing out balloons and fliers to promote the forthcoming birthday party to celebrate Princes Parks’ first birthday.

On the day – Saturday 10 November 2007 – from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm on the Plaza, the Dartford Football Team will be signing autographs, there will be face painters, balloon makers and Bubbles the Clown. Later, during the afternoon Matthew Crane (X Factor finalist) will be opening the game against Waltham Abbey.

Nicola and her helpers will be at the Priory Centre on the following Thursdays – 25 October, 1 November and 8 November – advertising the day. Tickets for the game will be on sale – all advance tickets purchased will receive a complimentary pass to Next Generation health & leisure club

Let’s encourage as many people as possible to come along and join in the family fun prior to the game and make it a special day and bring back some of the great memories of 11 November 2006!!

Yeh sounds good. But do you know if the season ticket holders can get in with season tickets or will wil have to buy normal tickets as i think there will probably be over 2000 at the game-all ticket match

Season tickets will still get in with them, if I am correct. It's not an all ticket match - just the opportunity for some to be purchased in advance.

There must have been 10000 flags at Chelsea the other week.  If it's OK at Stamford Bridge, it ought to be OK at PP.  But you never know.  xshrug

I once saw Maciej Zakościelny at an Arsenal game. He's a small Pole ..... although he didn't have a flag on him.

Apparently pole's aren't allowed.

Isn't that unlawful discrimination against the free movement of people and the European Convention on Human Rights?????

Banksy, I can't see a problem when they sell the little flags on poles in the club shop!
