The Darts played some great stuff in the second half (keeping it on the floor!), How fast is Bradbrook on those long crossfield runs?, terrified em!
Junior Kadi growing with every game but my MOM was Alex OB just edging out Cassie , he was constantly driving the team on, decisive tackling and interception and a great vocal captain.
Shame , Ryno looked still very short of pace compared to pre season( he will get there) and it took a while to get the ball down and get around their back four that were trying literally everything to stop the Cass/May machine.
Three well earned points today, we could have had six today if more clinical! well done lads! COYD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xnod

Good performance today, clean sheet again and all three strikers getting a goal. 1st half was hit and miss but 2nd half was pure entertainment. We knocked the ball around well, Cass and May linked up well again, Kadi and OB ran the midfield and Moore looked fairly impressive when he came on. We never looked like conceding today, Guest and Flanagan were solid and Kessell made good work of his only save of the afternoon, we've not conceded now at home in the league since Maldon on the opening day.

Even more entertaining was the Potters Bar defence 5 & 6 were a fine double act and it was topped off brilliantly by the number 5's own goal. By the way great pic Gary, but I am disappointed to see the number 5 wasn't on the list for Man of the Match  :-D

Good crowd today and not a bad noise, much better in the second half, well me and Kev were singing anyway.  xwhis

hopefully no brawling at Tilbury on tuesday night  :-D

dont understand why choir were silent, although i admit i couldnt believe how poor we were in the first half.why, when we are clearly a good team, getting better all the time, did we play such atrocious football?come on boys, turn it on from the first whistle, not the second half.if everyone put anywhere near the effort that greeny puts in from the word go we'd be unbeatable.we only played for 45 minutes but scored 4 and made lots of chances.i reckon a few more games down the line and we'll be the finished article.up to third and the best is yet to come.happy days.come on you darts!!!!!

The club decided to give the goal to Kadi as the shot was goal bound.

856 is a healthy crowd all things considered (time of year ,Charlton at home etc etc) but am I the only one that thought there looked a lot less than 856 in the ground today?

Great win and looking forward to spending £2 at the tunnel on Tuesday.

sorry I couldn't be there yesterday but I still have commitments at home. Looking at sonytino's great clips from the game was struck me was the wonderful move that led to goal four. Kadi it was, I think, who managed to put the ball forward while his body language, head and direction continued going sideways. Watch it carefully, the PBT defender is completely hoaxed by it and continues 'defending' against Kadi for two or three steps after the ball has gone. The look on the defender's face is priceless. Very very enjoyable to watch.

So, third in the table with games in hand. not a bad position.

The number 5 for Potters Bar was pure comedy gold. Fair play to the bloke as he took the stick well and even managed a chuckle himself. His partner the number 6 was just as bad. I think they were having a competition to see who could kick the ball out of Princes Park / who could foul the most Dartford players.

Rambo the only reason that you thought we were in control and bossed the first half was because you fell asleep whilst the rest of us had to watch a dire performance including several players having an off game, especially Kadi who's flicks and touches didn't work and just gave the opposition the ball and against better teams it could have cost us dear, just as Potters Bar caught us on the break from one of Kadi's moves and but for Kessie we could have been 1-0 down.

Thankfully we got the break through very close to half-time as Ryno's good cross (perhaps the only thing he had done in the first half) found Jay to head home, I along with several other fans behind the goal thought the linesman had missed a blatant offside (thats after he missed the push in the face on Cassie and the obvious hand ball high in the air) but thanks to the video you can clearly see a defender marking himself on the line halfway between the corner flag and goal but out of sight to us on the terrace at the time.

Second half much better not because Potters Bar pushed up looking for a goal but because we stepped up our game, played more football on the deck, kept possession and went looking for goals.

The Cassie goal has been commented on but it was not a one on one, he didn't have the ball when put through their no.6 did, but in his attempt to shield it plus pressure from Cassie he fell over and with Cassie looking for the goalie to close him down the keeper also fell over to his left and Cassie seemed to stop in disbelief before putting the ball in the net.

Goal three was justice as Kadi demonstrated the art of getting to the bye line and firing in a good hard cross/come shot and with two Darts players behind him the 5 stretched out a leg only to see the ball fly off it high into the roof of the net.

The fourth goal was worthy of winning the match with its lick passing, with the short corner to Kadi who dummied and sent Moores to the line and his first time cross found Tom waiting for the tap in.

Interesting to see lots of players all getting votes for M.O.M. which must have been based on the second half as Kessie's save was all that happened in the first.

Well done to the Darts the job was done and three points taken plus a boost to the goal diifference and a move into 3rd place, but in this important week where we must also get results away to Tilbury and Wingate to really put pressure on the top teams, we must remain consistant and take the second half performance into the whole 90 minutes of both games, then and only then will we begin to see if this team can avoid the slip ups against the teams below them in the league, something we have been guilty of in the past.

With the right results and games in hand we should hopefully be in a good position and this will set us up for the home game against Edgeware in early Novemeber.

Regarding the votes for M.O.M, in general terms (i.e. not just yesterday), I can't help thinking that the voting might be skewed by the fact that most the fans voting stand behind the opposition's goal for both halves of the match and therefore do not see as much as they might do of the sterling work done by the defenders. A lot of votes seem (IMHO of course) to be awarded to the likes of Jay, Brendan and Greenie just because they do a lot of running about, sometimes without as much end product as the voting would seem to suggest. If anybody wants to shoot me down, fair enough, coz it's only the impression I have. As an old fogey I sit in the stands about half way down the Watling Street end, so I see half a match of Darts attacking and half a match of Darts defending which I would like to think gives me a fuller picture on which to base my vote. But one big problem, though: - That only makes it harder for me to make my mind up!!!
