this cup is so IMPORTANT that radio kent chose NOT to mention it this morning even talked about the andy fordham  [ dartford darts player ] losing 10 stone - big news !!!!!!!!!

[/quote]

Duke , this is no suprise to me whatsoever .. In my opinion Radio Kents sporting bulletins (particularly on their Saturday afternoon show) seem to lack the passion and enthusiasm when mentioning Dartfords game / result.
It may just be me, but when listening to their reports / interviews on  xdover ,Sittingbourne, Chatham Tonbridge Angels, Margate etc, etc  it seems to mean so much more to them  :x

As I say probably just me feeling hard done by.

Chris, the difference i,s if they have made a couple of changees instead of 5 or 6 then that makes our performance even better surely?

Sorry for the delay in replying Eagle, my orig reply crossed with an incoming posting.
It was good to read that the team started some U21 it must've gave their confidence a huge boost. No matter the sport, whether soccer or my adopted sport of baseball, the farm system is important to the growth and progression of the team. To play as a 1st teamer at home at PP in front of the home fans must've been a rush!!!

Sorry Michael, for some reason I had Chris on my brain - don't ask me why :? :? Thepoint I was making was that as far as I can tell the Aveley side was not far off full strength which makes the guys performance that bit more special doesn't it. As you say it will have done those chosen no harm at all to pull on the first team jersey and run out at PP.

I suppose you are right Banksy87 (Did it used to be called Radio Medway or something like that?)

By the way Duke there are a couple of relatively comical / entertaining DJ's on there on Saturday mornings (Paul Harris and
another Paul) and at least they give the Orchard Theatre a mention or two some of the time. :-D

Up the Darts!
Best team in Kent by miles !

Radio Kent produced perhaps the greatest 10 mins of entertainment in conjunction with the Kent FA a couple of years ago when they drew the Kent League Cup and 2 of the teams 'drawn' had been knocked out the previous round, There were too many balls in the hat and they ended it by saying 'ties will be played...erm erm sometime in 2006' or whenever the draw was being made!

Also a great wind up seems to be when theres a big cup/vase game and they cant be bothered to send a reporter they phone the ground to get the score and some wag tells them the wrong score. A couple of years ago VCD played Broxbourne in the latters stages of the vase a game I attended and despite the score being 1-0 to VCD at full time Radio Kent gave the score as 3-1 to Broxbourne until someone must have rang in to correct them and the presenter blamed the bloke at VCD for giving him the wrong score when it was Radio Kents fault for not sending a reporter!

Does nobody else really really really  appreciate live coverage on Radio Kent of Colchester Vrs Charlton rather than hearing about teams that are actually in Kent?? Rather like the Dartford Times, Radio Kent should hang its head in shame!

This what Gilesy posted erlier which make the lads performance ieven more impressive!

From what i was told Averly played there first team last night, It was a good solid proformance from us last night and i enjoyed the game very much.

There will be a couple of these guys pushing for first team soon so good luck to them.

One thing i did notice was how much more communication there was between the team last night some thing we don't see from the first team as much.

Can anyone please re-arrange the words in the previous post into some sort of order as I can't be bothered to work it out.

have to excuse me ronaldo my english is appalling sorry about that. basically was saying that women shouldnt moan about there husband or lad going to the darts its an addiction plus women in numbers definately needed more at pp and away games

terribly sorry Ronaldo old chap. You will have to forgive my poor grammar and atrocious spelling as I am from the text generation. I was simply inferring that the opposite sex would be most welcome at the darts and I would very much like to meet a lovely young lady to take back to mine for a good hard s*** :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
