Absolutley gutted why do we play such long balls kick and run.

If we want to move out of this F*****g League then lets get going.  xshrug

Apprently we was told to stop picking on the players this was communicated from the gaffer but no one confirmed this.

We have all said it we have no right to win the league, but come on Dartford we should be at the top of are game they are not going to roll over and play dead just because we turned up.  xshrug

We are Dartford Princes Park lets start to show them what we can do.

Tuesday night we might all need Dukes mat!!!!!!!!

Cant believe we was lucky that some of the results went are way again.......

As I have said before, OB is just a Lew Watts lookalike, and the midfield with a few injuries is non-existent. But the even at full strength the midfield can be woeful. Ok, we missed certain players. But I still think we are a long way off winning this division, and if Waltham Forest held Edgeware today to a draw, what hope Tuesday? wWe need to buck our ideas up. And pretty damned fast.

I'm sorry about my mistakes in my previous post, but the Talisker is kicking in nicely now, and I needed it after that. So if I make anymore mistakes,
Fourgif me, hic!

Do you mean picking on our players or their players? I didn't hear anyone outwardly picking on our players, under breath comments yes but not shouted out.

As for picking on their players - how dare we?

To be fair, I heard some crap being said on the terraces this afternoon. Really some of it is embarassing. But, that doesn't excuse the poor performance by the team.

Just taken from the redbridge forum

Redbridge continued their good form and made it 8 league matches without defeat after a hard fought 2-1 win over Dartford infront of a crowd of over 200 , the biggest at the Oakside in over 2 years.   Redbridge goals came from Dave Collins and substitute Charlie Bull.

No doubt some will slag me off but i don't care, Today we were poor ,and why on earth do we lump it from the back all the time ,it is so bloomin' predictable.TB is the manager and has my support, but the midfield is just not there for me,if we don't get it sorted then there will be several more Wares,Northwoods and Redbridges before the season is out,as for winning the league, sorry IMO.we simply AIN'T GOOD ENOUGH. I'm told that steve Northwood is a fair keeper,I wouldn't know, we didn't give him a shot to save. I will be there on tuesday and hoping for 3 points ,but I have seen too many teams this season who are just as good as we are to dream of anything better than 5th or 6th place . One bright note Phil Williams, easily our best player,I hope he stays ,we need more players of his Quality. Sorry to go on but I am very Dissappointed, we have no divine right  but for me the REAL DARTS just don't seem to be turning up at the moment. This league is tough and we are in a battle so lets roll our sleeves up and get in there where it hurts otherwise we will drift down the table just like last season.

Dear Tony,

The performance of the team today was well below the standard expected from the quality of players we have available.  Maybe some frustrations were heard as you sat in the dugout but you have to realise we have the most dedicated following in the league and pay our hard earned wages HOME and AWAY to support our lads. Frustration kicks in when we have to watch long ball football and at times a lack of passion and composure from certain individuals. It is up to you to get the lads playing but they have to realise that while we will support them wholeheartedly they can't come and join the dfc bandwagon then relax and rely on other players to carry them through. To get out of this league will take some doing but we have a far better chance of achieving our aims if we stick to the basics and pass the ball about. I still cant work out why the best central midfielder in our league (eddie Mc) started out wide today especially as we had FOUR wingers on the bench. Maybe it was due to injuries?? Tactical genius??? Please enlighten us. We were unlucky with a few decisions but a draw would have covered a lot of cracks. The hardcore will be there again on Tuesday night but dont knock us if we make our feelings known - this is a mans game - the players should work hard for the fans respect and be made aware when they are letting us and you down. In return we will support you in dealing with things behind closed doors and will support our lads by out singing any team in the league. Lets all hope that todays pain motivates the boys to play better on Tuesday.

Yours

A concerned Mrgaz10

two very honestand genuine  posts by dartwolf and mrsGaz and i agree that no one should get slagged off for being honest and no rose coloured specs about today as everyone so far feels the same

we are ALL darts through and through but how can we say nice things about the last 3 games as they have been woeful , we could stick our heads up our a...e and believe that all is going fantastically well but is that honest ????????????????????

some of the most level headed and loyal fans are becoming dispirited as we know that OUR  team can do much better , we cant do much more than turn up in a hundreds and support them but lately they are making it very hard to achieve a " sore throat "

still 99.9% of us will be there tuesday and onwards just praying that things will change !!!!!!!!!!!
