£7 OR £8 - last night's performance was absolutely priceless!!! By far OUR best away performance! Working non-stop for each other, especially after their beauty of an opener! How we didn't score more I'll never know...... The ref was terrible - right from ignoring his assistant for a WF offside upto not sending of WF no. 4 for throwing a punch!!!! Now we have 3 HOME matches on the trott - lets raise the roof!!

Also where are TB's notes, talking to all the fans last night and we all missed them.

Sometimes saying nothing says it all...

Other times juggling a family, running a business and managing and being director of a football club means you don't get a chance.

Pre internet days normally ended with a lynching around the back of the stand if someone got the hump with the team. But yes, we should let it drop.       Until the next time.

I remember those days with a certain amount of fondness.  Nothing better than a rousing chorus of 'Biddle out' 'round the back of the main stand.

Yes, and as I recall, those chants started during the pre-season friendlies!!!

Just back from head office so catching up on things, so who'd want to drive round the North Circular on a cold wet Tuesday night to see a team play at Waltham Forest after Saturdays performance, why only the loyal Darts fans of course and wasn't it worth the trip to see the team perform and get the result.

At the end of the first half played on a pitch which under normal circumstances you wouldn't have thought to be conducive to any skillful form of football due to the very wet skiddy surface, the two teams proved me and many others wrong by playing some excellent on the deck football, W.F. dangerous on the break and The Darts just imposing wave after wave of attacks and bombardments on the W.F. goal.

Had the half time score become a result I would still have gone home reasonably happy as the football that The Darts played was by far the best of this season and possibly the last couple of seasons as every ball was played from the back from Kessie either to the left or right to the full backs threading it into midfield and then onto the wings where Ryno and Phil danced around defenders to create crosses, chances or shots on goal.

We were always going to be vunerable to the quick break with our attacking formation and have to accept that a couple of defensive errors lead to the W.F. goals, but if you score one or more goals than the opposition you get to win and take the three points and but for their goalie it could have been a lot more goals.

My vote for M.O.M. goes to Ryno who now seems to be almost back to his best, hungry for the ball, whipping in crosses, firing in shots on target, getting a goal as well, but most importantly tackling back to help out the defence throughout the game.

Eddie in midfield stroking the ball about, Phil performing just as well on the left as on the right and Alex playing a captains role as the lone ball winner in midfield meant that the defence should have managed to keep a clean sheet as the ball was rarely in our half, but full marks to W.F. who took their chances and made a game of it.

Up front Cassie and Jay worked tirelessly as usual with Jay unlucky with a powerful shot which bounced off the keeper, but did lead to us scoring and Cassie picking up another goal to add to his tally.

Well done to all the players and Tony for picking this line up which worked very well on the night, as to the walk off at the end, I can't believe the players intentionally acted this way either under their own initiative or under instructions, I just think that they all wanted to shake hands with fellow players and officials and get in out of the rain, with most of them in the centre circle subsequently acknowledging the fans and one or two who were close to the changing rooms already heading straight off.

I paid £8 admission bought a pint of Websters  and had a burger, none of which I could have done if visiting Princes Park, so to be fair we must give some thought to all the away fans who visit us and have to pay £9 no burgers or hot dogs and drink Timothy Taylor/London Pride (Still soon to be Speckled Hen as I understand)

Good Luck to W.F. for the rest of the season, just get the admission price right from the onset in future and if you are still struggling when you visit P.P. no doubt we can organise a collection to help out.
