BURY TOWN ( HOME ) 24TH NOVEMBER 2007
« on: November 22, 2007, 09:13:27 AM »

Morning all ,

Well after the terrific performance of the boys on Tuesday night , Bury Town are the visitors to Princes Park , hopefully same team except maybe John Guest . Any news on his injury ? Am bringing future brother in law to the game for his first taste of PP and he is really looking forward to it . Heres hoping for more of the same from Tuesday minus the rain.

Come on Dartford  -    let's get to the top of the table and stay there all season. :-)

Hope to get there tomorrow but my consolation is that we've got 3 home games in a week !  8-)

Sat in the stand with John Guest onTuesday and he said he was almost recovered from his thigh strain and
was only kept off the bench as a precaution. So guess he should be in the squad for Saturday.

I think the Ryman Website have this fixture being played tonight but after having a glance at the Sudbury site they have their next fixture as Brentwood on the 27th.Mind you just recently they had us playing Arlesey on Sunday the 11th  of November.

An increased workload means that this will be another game I'm going to miss.

In any case good luck on saturday to all concerned. If we could go on a nice unbeaten run from now on through the xmas period and into '08 up until around mid to late April I reckon we should just about be OK.

with guesty still injured , it will give ozzie another game at right back and coyle at centre back , both  looked pretty solid at WF and suggest that guesty will have to work hard to get back into the team , a;ll good competition !!!!!!!!!!!!!

just hope that saturday sees a contiuation of the " football " played at WF as confidence must be sky high !!!!!!!!!

i actually prefer phil williams on right and ryno on the left , hope that hasnt upset anyone ???????

coney - fair dues as ozzie is playing well since he came back from injury , maybe the rest and the relisation that he was NOT an automatic choice has been the lift he needed

he would be unlucky to have been dropped after recent performances as i believe that reputations count for nothing IF the guy with the shirt is playing well enough to keep it but i dont subscibe to automatically keeping a winning team together

Duke I'm all for keeping the performers in the team, as it keeps the "regulars" on their toes if they get dropped and find they can't walk back in.

I like to keep a winning team together, but am not against making subtle changes for the sake of tactics. Though at this level the best tactic is to play your own game and let the oppo worry about you.

In footbal reputations count for nothing unless you are sh*t :-D :-D :-D

Not much mention of the game on their website does not look like there will be many traveling again. one fan thought they were playing Northwood although he called them Norwood.

"Well done BobN, Glad to see that your taking tips from Mark Morsley.

Its true that Northwood have a couple of very useful centre backs and a couple of very quick forwards, but dont worry to much, your playing Dartford this week.

My tip is make the effort to go to Dartford, its the best ground in the league and they get a good size crowd."

I see my mate Banksy87 is up to his old tricks again with his prophecies. Banksy87! your might be owing me a few rounds before the end of the season. But I certainly hope not though.
