I am as disappointed about today's result as all the other posters tonight and echo all their comments and thought we were VERY unlucky to get nul points , but would just add a couple of comments:

1. It was noticeable that, once Bury went 2-1 up, every time we had a free kick or a corner (or looked threatening in any other way), they nearly always had 10 (TEN!) men back in the box, so it was perhaps not surprising we couldn't find a way through. I can remember earlier in the season, when we weren't conceding (m)any goals, OUR defenders were throwing themselves in front of everything like that, so fair dos to Bury: their defence - on the day - was better than ours.
2. Bury's 2nd goal can't really be put down to bad defending - it was a fluke. Guy on the penalty spot, back to goal, attempts an overhead bicycle kick; the ball cannons off his marker's shoulder and ricochets right to the feet a guy with a clear shot on goal. Kess got his finger tips to it, but not enough (maybe a taller goalie would have got down far enough - but we've been there before).

Better luck on Tuesday, chaps.

Yes we played good attacking football for most of the game and some say that we were unlucky, I prefer to say that Bury defended well once they got ahead, as that's exactly what we were saying of our defence a few matches ago until they started leaking goals.

At the moment we are one of the top nine clubs who all appear to be slightly above average thus keeping us all at the top end of the table, but although we have all won a good number of games too many have been lost or drawn and it is high time that one of us strung a number of wins together.

Provided that we can continue to play on the deck football and tighten up the defence again, I would say we have the best chance of putting that run together, provided we start now and take the points off of the likes of Enfield and Brentwood as well as the teams lower down the league.

So come on Darts lets win the home games as well as the away games and I am willing to bet that the choir will also come on stream at Princes Park just like the away games, where ever we stand.

My vote goes again to Ryno with telling crosses both from the right and left through out the game, but especially my thanks goes to him for being the first to applaud the fans at the end and to encourage the other players to do the same.

Unfortunately a few of us couldn't make it today.  :-( so cant comment on the performance. Sounds like Ryno's coming back into form  :-D :-D. I think we have a quality team,  and we will start picking some good results in the not to distant future (or maybe i have just had to much southern comfort).

As for anyone idiots booing, what can it possibly do to help our team win games?  :? Dont bother coming if your going to do it.

Shame about the choir, will be there tuesday night to help make some noise. Maybe it would help if all the people wanting to sing tryed to stand around the back of the goal.

Roll on Tuesday

On another day darts would have won this one easily! its a funny old game!
I was very dissapointed at the end but still applauded the lads , thats what its all about.
Thought the Bury keeper showed exactly how to cope with the darts crowd ,SMILE!,( Jake Wincup of Ashford town , take note) , and made a great save from Cassie near the end! damn him , lol !
we will bounce back, cant wait till tuesday .
Come on you Darts!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I felt we played very well, I just think that Bury was defending desperately at times and they had the run of the ball. I mean two off the line in the final minutes. We were sloppy on both goals and I thought their 9, 10  and 11 were excellent at taking some of that pressure off their defence. Good luck to Bury.

sadly i missed the game but i am glad the postings are a bit more sensible.usually if we win most posters say we played well and when we lose we played badly.it is possible to play well and lose.once again it sounds from the comments so far that we have been undone by the "cup final" affect.

a loss is always dissapointing but once again we are still in the mix but the fear for every team now is that the table is so condensed one defeat could drop a team 3 or 4 positions.we must bounce back immediately.it looks likely that many teams could be in the frame right to the end and quite a low total could take the title.it is also possible that any team from the top half of the table could put a title run together.lets hope its us.

How the hell we lost is a mystery to me played some nice football, all the players worked their socks off and for some of the crowd to boo was out of order,if you can,t stand losing stay away we don,t want negative vibes getting though to the players after they put a lot of effort into the game.On another day we would have got a result but the luck seems to have deserted us for the moment if the players put in that much effort into the season win lose or draw we won,t hear many complaints from me.ee you all on Tuesday.UP THE DARTS.

Having been one of the harsher critics, I must comment it was nice to see some real football yesterday.  2 flying wingers putting crosses in for the front men, the way the game should be played.  Disappointed by the substitutions yet again, Phil was causing problems down the wing although the final ball wasn't always great.

With regard to booing at games, I will boo the team off if I feel that the effort and quality isn't there.  I couldn't understand how people could boo the team of yesteday.

Message for TB, I was gutted at the defeat not happy like he things I am.

Looking forward to Tuesday already

yesterday did NOT warrant any booing and even when we lose[ poorly] ALL genuine dart fans are dissappointed but im proud to say that none of the guys i stand with have ever been heard too boo OUR team !!!

only idiots boo " their [ ?]  "  team and i agree with the posters and suggest they f.... off and support any other team [ but us] as we do NOT want to be associated with them

i agree that if you pay then you are entitled to an opinion but booing goes beyond levels of decency !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

great to see ryno being the 1st one to clap the fans yesterday and even OB acknowledged us , so it really is time to put the " events " of the past week behind us

lets ALL get down to PP on tuesday and kick up a " noisy storm " !!!!!!!!!

I had a long chat with OB after the game, and he agreed that things had been blown out of proportion. The things he was called at Redbridge as he was being substituted were absolutely outrageous (I'm not going to reproduce it). Let's get on with things as a club, and as a team.

I have never booed the Darts off the field in almost 50 years of supporting them, the team played well on saturday and deserved at least a point, but it just wasn't our day . we must go for max points from the next 2 home games to get the show on the road again. Blimey Gary that was a bit understated about the chat.
Thought he was gonna start "kicking walls" again , he was so pi**ed off.
Great to see that fight and determination, he earnt a lot of my respect last night.

He knows us real fans are not to blame and he appreciates the good support so lets make that more audible than the idiots.
